Trying to explain his experiences to a "pure vanilla" police officer who really doesn't get it just creates more questions than are answered, especially when the answers aren't believed in the first place. I love the idea that the interrogating officer mentioned that "magic is evil, and that it hurts people," and Harry thinks of Justin and Nicodemus. I don't know about this bride spirit, but it could have been many things. (It could have been Lash...) And when Harry needed inspiration, he remembered Molly, who seriously helped him in his moment of need. I said it before, and I'll say it again. This was wonderfully done.
My best guess as to the bride was either Bianca after the ball or Aurora when she read his mind in Summer Knight. Apart from those two I have no clue.
Maybe the bride spirit was Elaine? When she was helping Justin, that is

I remember coming across a comment Jim Butcher made somewhere stating something like the licensing rights to the show was going to expire soon and he was happy about it because now he could do something better with it.
@@renehouse2015 last I heard he wanted something animated instead of live action for a new outing. There'd be less problems translating the books into an animated format.
But then, they've already gathered some great actors for the trailers for the last 2 books...
This was flippin' awesome! You've totally nailed Harry's personality and the general feel of the books. I loved the 'full name' scene, because I thought 'I hope he's not going to say his full name', then he responds with 'Let's just say that it is" - brilliant! I'd love to see more of this.

I absolutely love how Harry’s voice sounded like James Marsters’ performance in the audiobooks! I love James Marsters, and to me, he is Harry. This short film was phenomenal! Perfect casting for Dresden.

Stars and Stones this was great! I was half expecting it to be campy and lame like a lot of others, but this was a lovely snapshot of Dresden. The casting for Molly was EXCELLENT! I WANT A SERIES, PLEASE!!!

I'd prefer my Dreseden adaptation to be animated. Like no hold on special effects cause its all animated,. That being said yall had me sold on the coffee line

Love the line where molly said something along the lines of being there to pull him out of the fire or to help it burn. This was a great short and I found myself bummed that it was ending. Best fan film I’ve seen yet. Very well done.

Based...on this, harry dresden seems like a combo between constantine (the movie) n chandler from friends.

The Constantine of the TV show is pretty much Harry. Matt Ryan would be perfect as Harry.

Agreed. I've seen the other fan made stuff, and while a lot of heart was put into it, I feel like this Dresden portrayal is going to stick with me through Peace Talks. Well done. You should make more. It was simplistic, yet also artful, as well as being true to the books. I could nitpick about a few things, but overall, it was excellent.

Yeh - This Harry Dresden series could be done again (better) on a Netflix series. Maybe evil is stopping it from being created. I mean real evil. This is the evil that has plagued mankind for centuries, perhaps millennia. I think even the best magic has a tough time against this evil. It is of course the evil of bureaucracy and lawyers. This was a good video.🎇

Lash is a blond, and shields are cast from the left hand which is why the poor kid couldn't do it lol. Overall very well done. Wish we could have seen Thomas, mouse, or mister.

Justin's point was never to successfully teach the shield.
My cat is the spitting image of Mister (except she has a tail), but her onscreen rate is massive, tho. Couldn't afford her AND vfx.
