I’m not a luthier, but you don’t just place the soundpost so the top doesn’t depress under weight. You also orient it for the best sound. Also, the grain of the soundpost is supposed to align with the grain of the soundboard. This looks kind of Mickey Mouse, no offense to Mickey.
We want to know the scientific benefits of using such device over the traditional deployment of soundpost.
