So it is shocking to know that Yemen had rich soil for agriculture! India is not the only nation screwed up by Western world. Yemen has been unable to recover from that so far, and based on the limited news we get, can never recover from such political powerplay. I feel sad for that place!
Amazing Fact - Majority of the inscriptions inside hoq cave in (beautiful and mysterious) socotra island (south yemen) are written in brahmi script.The name socotra is "believed" to have been driven from the greek word dioskorida which appears to be a contraction of sanskrit word द्विप सुखदरः।
