I just installed Corsa Extreme exhaust, really satisifed. Very deep tone at low rpm, and very aggressive once you open the gas. No raspy and zero drone, even better than stock on highway. When you decelarate, the crackling is more and with more sound. The 4 black rear pipes look very aggressive. Yes, it is expensive, but manufacturing is nice and at the present I did not notice any negative point.
Ya I know Corsa makes very good products which explains the price, sounds like a very good exhaust. Did you have to cut out your stock exhaust valves to use on the corsa exhaust?
2017 T/A 392. 3" Hurst Elite cat back for now. Getting ceramic coated Black Heart shortys with new cats this summer. Shortys because lowered with Eibach. Unless someone else comes out with new shorty headers
If you are really into raspy though, just get the headers and complete exhaust delete and you can get all the rasp your car can put out. There is no other mod you can do to get this much rasp. It is so loud your grandma can hear it. I mean LOUD!
Good content, good topic! I did a mid muffler delete on my 2020 RT Plus Shaker and it sounds great with the stock Mopar resonators... The 6 speed Tremec with Pedal Commander make it fun too...
Hey I’m new to mopar and have a 2020 scat pack and was wondering if you have to do anything with the active exhaust switches when you take your mid mufflers off a shop stopped me today from taking my mid mufflers off for some reason and I’m confused why
@@bananabunny7272 Did you mean the cops stopped you? State laws vary, but they are getting more strict on modified exhausts. You can thank your EPA nonsense for that, and grumpy old people whining about the noise. But, when I did my delete, no other switching or anything was required on the performance pages.
It does sound amazing and the kooks longtubes work so well with these hemis, that's exactly why they will be one of the next mods coming up and possibly a Comp cam at the same time. I looked at the expensive Corsa extreme & borla atacks for my Challenger SRT8 370 (6.1), but ended up getting SLP loudmouths and are the best bang for the buck at about half the price. Plus they are lighter because they do not have resonators and are just open chamber racing bullets on 3" pipe, and flow so much better than stock. It is almost like straight piping, but without much raspiness and pop like crazy on downshifts. Plus, they are better than straight piping because of the increase diameter of the 3in and flow very well.. Out of any setup I've ever heard, they are at the top and is why l say they are the best for the money. Those rips at around 4 minutes, were awesome and laughed when your friends in the car got all fired up. Reminds me when I was getting onto a freeway on-ramp a while ago and dropped two gears, then punched it next to a semi and must have scared the crap out of the driver. I looked back in my rearview and he was flashing his lights & blasting his airhorn, with his fist shaking out the window at me. Lol l didn't do it to frightened him, he just happened to be there when I felt like getting on it and probably about gave him a heart attack lol
Ya there really is no “perfect” exhaust setup for these things it all comes down to personal preference. But that thing is gonna sound insane once you do the headers and cam. It’s so much fun to rip around in these things especially going through tunnels. Thanks for watching!
So how much should I expect to pay for a mid muffler delete? Also what’s the most expensive maintenance repair you’ve done so far I just had my front rotors and pads changed paid 1k hurts a little for brakes job
I recently put in Vibrant 1794 resonators in place of my mid mufflers on my 19' Scat Pack Challenger. Sounds good and has a deep tone with no rasp at all. Thought about cutting off the rear resonators but im worried about drone..I cant wait for headers!
I can only imagine how deep it sounds with those resonators and nothing else. If you don’t mind the rasp, then headers are definitely the way to go, are you gonna go catless? Thanks for watching!
@@KCars i think im going to stick with the cats. Its my daily driver and I've heard you get a lot of exhaust smell in the cabin after removing them. Probably just roll with some JBA long tube headers then see what the future holds
Thanks! And no I don’t really know anybody, I’ve just gotten lucky that the shop I take it to for inspections doesn’t check or is just pretty lenient on inspections. We also don’t have emissions testing which helps a lot
Yo bro did you do a tune after installing the kooks long tube headers? I’ve been hearing you need a custom tune after it. And also did it void your warranty after installing the headers?
Yes I got a custom dyno tune by OST dyno. And I believe the tune is what voided the warranty. I’m not sure if the headers themselves would void the warranty, I think they would have to be the cause of the issue for the warranty to be voided
I believe the headers were $1000, the midpipes were $600 and the muffler delete was $100. I have a whole video going over all the price details if you wanna check it out: ruclips.net/video/DUJpdjMNgqo/видео.html
I’ve done a mid muffler delete and resonator delete on my 2018 Challenger Scat Pack and I love it ! I love your car by the way. I bet it sounds like a beast on a cold start💪
Thanks for the video. Those were great examples of what the changes were and what they sounded like under all those different conditions. I really like the sound of the stock system ( I'm an old guy 😆) but I would love to keep it sounding somewhat stock while maybe losing a few lbs. out of the system.. It just seems like too many big heavy silencers under there. It seems like everybody gets rid of the mids, but the resonators in the back just seem huge to me.. Wondering if I could delete them and keep some semblance of the stock sound? I know that I will end up experimenting with it at some point. Thanks for the video. P.S. I also have a Go Mango Shaker '20. Nice choice.
Thanks! I know there are aftermarket mufflers and resonators you can get if you’re looking to have something similar to the stock sound, not sure how much lighter they are though. Thanks for watching!
I don’t think longtube headers are legal in CA unfortunately
I don’t doubt that. Seems like nothing car related is legal over there
when its idle, did the mid-muffler delete increase or decrease, the deep tone? or leave as is? If the deep tone decreases I think I'll pass.

That’s a good idea if you’re lowered. I scrape sometimes on stock suspension

I bet it’s loud with a complete exhaust delete lol
Yeah it’d be crazy - I wonder how a car would perform without any headers or exhaust at all.
It would be interesting
I deleted all my mufflers and resonators and put dynomax bullets for my mid muffler and sounds good no rasp. Little drone tho
Nice, I haven’t noticed much drone either with my setup
Did you go with the 24250 3" bullets?
@@8chriskelsr8 yes they are the smaller ones .
I love my long tube headers, I remember watching your videos before I had my longtubes lol glad I stuck around
Definitely my favorite mod so far. Thanks for watching!
Kooks LT Headers, Kooks Catless Down Pipe, Mid Muffler Delete and Resonator Delete loud af.
The only thing I still have are the resonators, I can imagine it would be pretty crazy if I got rid of those too
Do you get a lot of smoke and liquid coming out of your exhaust when you start it up after having headers and being catless?
I do notice liquid which I’m guessing is just condensation but I don’t get any smoke unless it’s cold out
Good content, good topic! I did a mid muffler delete on my 2020 RT Plus Shaker and it sounds great with the stock Mopar resonators... The 6 speed Tremec with Pedal Commander make it fun too...

No the active exhaust valves are after the mid mufflers so it will not affect them

How loud is it?
Got a videos ?
Love the sound of this car. I found the long tube headers you are using. But not the I think you said mid muffler could you tell me the name of it.
Thanks! I got a mid muffler delete, they just cut them out and welded in a straight pipe.
So how much should I expect to pay for a mid muffler delete? Also what’s the most expensive maintenance repair you’ve done so far I just had my front rotors and pads changed paid 1k hurts a little for brakes job

Do you have to “know a guy” to get it inspected with this setup?

@@KCars Nice, thank you.
No problem!
Is it possible to have them resize the muffler to half size to kinda keep the tone but get more sound?
I think you could just get replacement mufflers for that reason. The dynomax race bullets might be something of interest to you
Drinking challenge. Drink everyone he says raspy or raspiness.
Hey what’s up homie did you have to have o2 extenders for your catless
I got the kooks headers and catless midpipes, I don’t think they came with O2 extenders but I’m not 100% on that
@@KCars I did as well I’m still waiting for my headers since we last spoke I was just checking back with you keep up the great content

I have no cats and straight piped. Love that sound. But I'll be going long tube headers next year. Did you get rid of those stock tires yet?
That’s gonna sound insane. And nah still have them, really need to upgrade
@@KCars it sounds amazing. I have a check engine light on the dashboard but once I get my tune from HPTuners this week it'll remove it.
