Morning rock hill farms. Amazing Sunday morning here in the city. Auto cycle that pushed threw most pieces. That looks like a great one man band splitter. Thanks for showing all these different splitters.
Definitely a good video! I was impressed with the 4way wedge and how fast you can go from a 4 way to regular splitter, then back. With slower cycling time, but with 4 way wedge, it may be a wash on time. Would definitely like to see one of the newer versions to see if they have addressed some of the little issues that you saw with hydraulic hoses and the log lift. Definitely would like to see one demo in the future.
I think the auto cycling kind of takes away some of the safety of holding the valve while its pushing through the wood. Not that im that much into government mandated safety controls. Like you were saying if it had a work table to catch the split pieces and a little better setup on the log lift hinge i think it would be a good setup. Love the idea of the hydraulic adjustable 4 way. It is such a pain to put the 4 way on and take it off plus i cant adjust the height of the one i use. I dont hardly ever use the 4 way. More of a pain than a time saver.
If you could only buy one splitter and you had two options Ramsplitter H34 with the 18 hp engine, feed table, log lift, adjustable 4-way for $5800 with shipping or the Ultra set up like yours for $5700 with shipping which would you buy?
I don’t see an option to get the log lift or hydraulic wedge on their website. I would be more interested in the ultra if I could get the adjustable wedge
@@mikekrueger3929 sorry, I guess my response was not very clear. If I was trying to stay on that budget, I would get the Ramsplitter. You can get those options from Easton made, but you’ll have to step up to a more expensive splitter.
@ej2863 every day that we worked on this building was recorded and published as its own video. I think I did 13 videos about building the hut. I also did a summary video showing the whole bill from start to finish Complete Quonset Hut Build - From Site Prep to the Final Arch ruclips.net/video/pHPiMC75Idk/видео.html
@RockhillfarmYT oh yes I've watched multiple of the steel building videos, hence ordered one also. Gets here next week, working on hiring for foundation and erect building, expensive. 😂
Hey Brock! Thanks again for the invite to come out to Rockhill Farm! I enjoyed making a couple videos and getting to see your place.

I like that splitter .
That's a great splitter, but I still like the Power Split vertical splitter better. Kind of curious which splitter your son prefers.

I just checked the ram splitter. You can get the H34 with the fast cycle.

I love Eastonmade, but it I only have one splitter, I’m getting the log lift and the hydraulically adjustable wedge

How does the Ramsplitter compare to the ultra?
How are you liking the steel arch building? I just ordered one. ×)
Love it

Hello, any idea how the splitting power compares between the ultra and h34 Ramsplitter?
Thank you
The 34 is going to have a lot more power, but it moves slower
I think there is a faster cycle time option from Rams splitter
Yes, Ramsplitter has a faster one but that one is less tonnage if I remember right.
Thank you
First
why is eastonmade 32 ton so different than this 32 ton?
