    Aristocrat cards: Mirkwood bats, Zulaport Cutthroat, bastion of rememberance, impact tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Warleaders Call
    Pump cards: Shared Animosity, Coat of Arms
    Mana productin while keeping tokens on board. Cryptolith Rite, Elven Chorus, Growing Rites of Itlimoc, (Gaeas Cradle), Kruphix, God of Horizons as manabank when tokens get wiped
    Reanimation for token producers should also be very good
    Maybe token doublers

    what about running horizon stone, to keep the mana floating until you need it should the tokens die and you cant use the mana right away

    Mana Echoes is probably going to be pretty neat in a go-wide eldrazi deck.

    Amazing! The commander no one wants to play against, from the deck nobody can afford.

    i will say that at long last your the first actual youtuber to remember "maskwood nexus" effects with Azlask
    now Im rebuilding my morophon eldrazi's to Ulalek but Azlask is another great build around anyway

    Quick question. Since you seem to manipulate all these cards for illustrative purposes, does it mean you have early access to them? Does WotC supply these to you?

    I can see it now 6 months from now “why I no longer play Azlask” seems like a deck where your getting hated out first. Add to the fact that you’re a content creator and normally get targeted by people in pickup games and it’s a bad combo that’s not fun.

      So here's the thing. I completely agree, but looking at the past 3 years, there's been likely 30-50 kill on sight commander released? Everyone and their mother are playing kill on sight commanders. WoTC can no longer count on the set rotation to bring the big box given commander is now the favorite format so they jumped on the power creep train. Your bound to be hated out of games one way of another. If not this commander, it will be another.

      Oh yeah, I will laser focus on the Azlask commander every time. I'm also planning on running as many rest in peace and nether void effects as possible until it falls out of popularity.

      Honestly Ulalek copying things is stronger, Azlask is a finisher that doesn't have to be on the board as often as Ulalek or Zhulodok. If the Azlask players don't have many spawn and scions they're not as threatening as Ulalek or Zhulodok.

      I know exactly what you mean! I only play "kitchen table" Commander and my main is Edgar Markov...
      I lose MOST games!!
      I'm playing to have fun with friends. Most of the time I sandbag my vampires and only play one every other turn.
      But EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE you get some new person that thinks they're "all that"...
      Bet.
      Eldrazi WEENIES feels like I could run it the exact same way ❤

    Seems like a good way to start the game with a target on yourself

      I feel like no matter what you play, so long as its commonly played, you get targeted.

      Main problem with this commander it’s just way to scary out the gate. I mean the token creators kinda suck so setting that up is going to take way too long before you get hated out of the game.

    Impact Tremors, Goblin Bombardment, SAD ROBOT

    I think you need to give a little more credit to Eldrazi Confluence. Flicker Emrakul’s Hatcher 3 times and you just created 9 - 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn for 4 mana.

    • @jeffreykann213
      @jeffreykann213 4 месяца назад

      Is that interaction correct? Even if you target 3 times, wouldn't the 1st blink make the 2nd and 3rd fizzle because it's no longer on the field?

    • @IllTellUTomorrow
      @IllTellUTomorrow 4 месяца назад

      The card does not say return at end step so without this wording you should be able choose the order in which the modes trigger. I may be wrong but I don’t think it would fizzle because the order in which you choose the modes could change the outcome…such as flickering a oppenent’s 3/3 creature with a bunch of counters on it. This would remove the counters then you could give the creature +3/-3 to kill it.

    • @lockecole3726
      @lockecole3726 4 месяца назад

      It doesn't work that way. All 3 modes have to be chosen at the same time, the first flicker effect would flicker it, but the other two are already targeting it, and when it gets flickered for the first time, it's considered an entirely different card. The other two flicker effects are still targeting the original card that is no longer on the field, and they fizzle. That's also why flicker spells will save your creatures from single targeted removal. I think he gave the card an appropriate amount of credit.

    Ulalek seems like you want to keep it on board, while Azlask you may only need it out up to three times.

    • @chrisgebben2043
      @chrisgebben2043 4 месяца назад

      you technically need both to stay put. the more counters you get the more scary Azlask gets plus Azlask needs to stay because of the activated ability

    • @lockecole3726
      @lockecole3726 4 месяца назад

      @@chrisgebben2043 Anecdotal, but of the 3 times I've won with Azlask thus far, not a single game did the experience counters matter, just wiping their boards with the annihilator triggers was enough each time. If you can get him and some tokens out fast enough you just wipe people's boards and they scoop. You definitely do want to keep him out to get more experience counters, but if you have a good amount of tokens out (w/o summoning sickness) and 8 mana that turn (including WUBRG) you can just play him, activate the ability and likely win without having to have him out earlier.
