Suggestion for those doing the install without a lift - lower the spare tire to give you some wiggle room, especially when removing the factory exhaust.
I put the Borla S-Type cat back on my Silverado 5.3. It's one of the best sounding exhausts--not too loud and not too soft. I also added a Range Tech to keep the motor in V-8 at all types.
Can’t wait to add it to mine!! Same color truck too 😎
Sounds just like my Solo muffler delete system! Nice 👍
Wow, what an improvement. It sounds so much better.

That is a great tip!
@@kbautosports2145 Also, a pair of exhaust hanger pliers really help, especially with new and not very pliable rubber hangers.
Now youcan scare old ladies!!!
How about some headers??
This customer did not opt to do headers, just wanted the added aggressive sound from an exhaust system.

Was there any mpg improvement?
Aren't you suppose to keep resonator on?
What negative do you think could possibly happen by taking it off?
The removal of the resonator is the reason it sounds like it does after. They sold an expensive muffler and pipes.
You don’t make sense when you talk about the project. The coming apart statement is nonsense.
