An excellent snare drum. I bought mine at an ELP Legacy concert a few years ago. Carl Palmer himself signed the batter head and advised me to swap out the OEM batter head for a Remo coated Emperor and swap the snare attachment cords with tape. A very versatile snare drum it has a wide tuning range and excellent sensitivity.
That snare is gorgeous and it sounds great. $400 provides alot of options for snare drum's. Just replaced both heads on 6 shells for $300. ( Remo emporer and ambassador on the snares) Rock on!

Yes thankyou it does sound great like you said for the price, its a good piccolo snare 👍
Why the hoop is not gold? Originally, that snare has gold diecast hoop
Because i swap it on my Ludwig Supraphonic LM402TL .
I put the gold plated on my superphonic LM402TL, and triple flange from the superphonic on carl palmer signature snare.
Omg it seems to sound even better with triple flange hoops
