    I made a bath bomb for the first time using a recipe I found. It was 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup epsom salt, 1/2 cup corn starch; food coloring (for color), 3/4 tbsp water, 1 tbsp coconut oil, scents, and 1/2 cup lemon juice. I didn’t add epsom salt (forgot to) and not enough lemon juice (for liquid). Mine fell apart. How do I measure out enough ingredients so that it doesn’t happen again or where did I go wrong, where the fell apart after they dried and taken out of the mold?

      The best way to avoid this is by following the measurements carefully: thecoconutmama.com/homemade-bath-bombs/
      Also, let them dry for the full 24 hours. Hope this helps!

    Can you substitute the coconut milk powder for normal milk powder or would it change the whole thing?

    The coconut 🥥 flour vid is that the same as coconut powder at the bath bomb?

    • @TheCoconutMomma
      @TheCoconutMomma  5 месяцев назад

      No, coconut flour is slightly different. Coconut milk powder (used in this recipe) is dehydrated. You can read more about it here: thecoconutmama.com/coconut-milk-powder/

      your bathbomb is probs too dry, spray the mix with water NOT TOO MUCH, then put it in the mould

    • @TheCoconutMomma
      @TheCoconutMomma  9 месяцев назад

      This is a moisture issue. If it's crumbly when you try making a ball, spritz it with some witch hazel (in a spray bottle).

      There are a few ways you can do this, but the best way is to add a few drops of colorant to the epsom salt before mixing it with the other ingredients. Make sure it's a water-soluble dye that's safe for skin.

      We tried to clean something up with it a year ago and it seems we used too much because we were getting sick at home.
