So lovely to see this video, myself (60+yr old) and a couple of friends, started using henna in our 20s we found it could give very orange colour at times,so like yourself we experimented with all sorts, we found the water from boiling beetroot gave a luscious colour. Then we discovered some other henna colours, such as chestnut, Auburn black, mahogany, and brown I like to do little mixes of each faring surprising results always makes the hair seem richer and healthier . I loved your techniques. It was wonderful to watch and I am so happy that you are promoting this natural product with your wonderful ideas of what to mix with it fantastic.🎉❤
I've applied henna for years and I recently stopped because it was too drying for my hair. I did love the color and texture of your hair though. It is true that the quality of henna is quite important as it will determine the result.
After using henna more than 20 years, I'm settled with my salt and pepper hair for almost a year. Though liking my natural gray streaks, watching your wonderful videos makes me feel like going back to using henna! I too love blue-based red/purplish tone over orange tone for henna.
It was so much fun to make this video and I couldn't wait to share it with you! I am absolutely in love with my henna journey and also I am really enjoying finding new ingredients and new ideas for my henna paste. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments. Love you all and I hope you all are well! 🤗
I am so happy to see your channel, i am 32 years old , black women with so many grey hairs , my hair is curly and 10 years ago, I’ve already used henna on my hair only for the colors but now since last week i’ve return to color my hair because of grey hairs .I used only hibiscus tee + Henna .Next time I’ll try your Ingredients.❤ And i thank you for showing us the process to wash it. I will do the same .
FOREVER GRATEFUL for your henna videos… I’m in love with the Color, (chocolate/copper/rich brunette), my greys are gone in one application! I was searching for a natural alternative to hair dye after my mom had 2 cancers (I try to live an healthier life in all aspects that I can…), I’m so so grateful… Thank you!
Oh, thank you so much. I'm so glad to hear about your results. Comments like this encourage me to keep making videos. I truly appreciate you for being here, and I'm sorry about your mom.
Another brilliant henna video. I ONLY use your techniques/suggestions. I’ve seen a lot (and tried others) but for the last year I always come back to this channel ✨. Thank you ! (Oh and your bidet video, they’re installed in all my bathrooms because of you 🫶🏽)
I always do henna. I really like the Jamela from Pakistan as a base. It makes my hair thicker. I have quite a lot of white hair. I don't mind some orange hair but where there are too many I spot do indigo, just where it's too much and and on roots. I don't do indigo on the whole hair because too dark doesn't suit me and washes me out. My hair has never been so strong and healthy. It usually doesn't grow much but with henna it's growing like never before. I really love henna. You're super pretty, love your videos !
I love hearing that, and I totally agree with you about the indigo, because I noticed when I was using it made my hair so dark, and just like you, I don’t think it suits me well. Thank you for being here, Emma. 💖
@Rose Baby i watch all your videos, they are so informative and fun, and i love all the ustensiles you use, especially the wood bown and spoon. Could you do a few videos dedicated to ONLY applying henna, the different methods of applying henna on hair, because i always end up missing sections. 😊😊
To make fruit hair dye, you can boil fruit or vegetables in water, then strain the liquid and use it on your hair: Chop your fruit or vegetable. Put the fruit or vegetable in a saucepan and cover with twice as much water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about an hour. Let the water cool to room temperature and strain. Then you can just let ur hair soak in it for ten minutes and voila I recor mend using cherries blackberries raspberry’s strawberry’s and apple skin ❤
Hello Rose⚘That henna concoction looks good enough to eat 😊The end result is stunning & looks more natural . Your kitchen must smell like an orchard of berries, too. Have you ever tried Organic CHESTNUT Shampoo between periods of henna? It has a subtle aroma & helps keep the beautiful shades of henna longer. An important point to remember is that you have to be very careful where you purchase your ground henna, as some unscrupulous people add other unidentifiable ingredients that can be harmful for the hair & particularly the Scalp. Ideally; it's best if you can get the Henna leaves; warm them in the sunshine then grind them at home for your mixture. Have a Henna Fun Day 😂& take care.⚘

Thank you for being here, mimi. I use to get orange tones on my grays too but adding other ingredients especially the ones that promote red tones like hibiscus powder, red clay, beetroot, and black tea all really helped me to get the tone I like. So I really encourage you to keep trying with other ingredients until you find something that works for you. ❤️❤️
Hi ✋🏽 Rose, What will the colour result be, if i use both Beetroot + Pomegranate Juice with Henna on the hair? Saw both ur videos. More than Beetroot Juice formula. When u used Pomegranate Juice, ur hair was more Reddish like the Irish. Please advise 🙏🏽🇮🇳

Yes, we have a small garden but we managed to put about 20 trees in the ground. We have a mulberry tree, pistachio trees, walnut, almond, pomegranate, apricot, peach, olives, and a couple pine trees. 🌳🌲
@@RoseBaby Omg I’m so jealous! 😍🥰 I can’t wait to have actual trees in the future. Right now I just have blueberries, black raspberry, and two grape vines. Everything else in my garden is rotated seasonally. If ever you run out content ideas, I’d love to see the trees and any information for caring for them 🩷
Yes, I have a lot of gray hair and that’s the only thing I use to cover them. It’s considered permanent, however the color will fade over time. I only have to touch up my roots every 4-6 weeks because of the white new growth and I usually apply it down a few inches to freshen up the old hennaed hair.
I keep requesting you to do henna + 6 tsp spoons of vinegar + 1 tbsp cinnamon powder + 2 tbsp Amla and I would like to really see what color it gives on your hair. I get dark brown but I believe that it will result greatly in your hair. Pls it's my humble request and u won't regret it i believe. Pls!
@@emmaphilo4049 I have Greys. It gives a dark brown shade on my greys that can get along with my jet black hair. Apple cider vinegar, Amla/Indian gooseberry powder and a little of coffee and cinnamon powders help get max out of henna. Otherwise it will be orangish or brassy.
It sounds like a great recipe. I defiantly tried all these ingredients before but maybe not in the same mix, so I will give it a shot. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for being here. 💖
Try boiling walnut shell and possibly brown onion shell and mixing it with henna. It gets really pretty brown on the hair.
