@@h2owl205 Well when I commented that I was thinking of classes such as Calc BC and Physics 3, but I suppose those classes aren't a requirement. Regardless, some schools pile on a lot of homework as well no matter the classes, so I maintain that that assumption is blatantly false and is entirely conjecture.

@@maxonwolf5841 it’s not too difficult. Figure out the order, activate the spike trap in front of him and shoot at the right moment. Honestly i get more frustrated when a powerup spawns but a monkey doesn’t even grab it.

This map really shines in the 4 player camping spots. If you want old-school last stand camping, then Shangri-La is one of the best. I have always enjoyed this map from the beginning. When I first played it a couple weeks after it released due to being on holiday, I met a guy who became my main zombies partner from then on. So good memories there. The main issue I have with this map is, how difficult the map is for 2 players, at least for camping. The map is very fun with 3+ players camping, but any less becomes insanely difficult. There are a couple other annoyances like the mud, and the wall weapon spacing, but overall I always liked this map.

I've found it decent in bo3. Maybe cuz when i was younger, i didnt really see the aspect of the map in bo1. I was a straight forward player before and i felt like the map didnt have alot of space to break free from the zombie trains lol but now... it still does💀 but it's challenging (and i like challenges🤷🏾♂️)

I now realize that in the way that all the WaW maps were all simple but each added new concepts shangrila did the same shangrila is actually beautifully simple and is shrouded with environment

I loved shangrila when it came out, I just didn't like how my friends didn't like it because to them it was too difficult. I'm a pretty competent player, but I would rarely make it to round 22 on solo. I miss the rage that the other maps couldn't get out from me as easily as this map could. I really enjoyed the map

Shangri La just sucks. The pap system is trash and if you play public match you have to rely on randoms knowing or listening to you. The baby gun can get you killed so fast. The napalm zombies are the worst because now you can’t sit in a corner or train in one spot because you’ll burn or he’ll explode and fuck you. The traps are ass. This map just plain sucks.

Can’t believe you’re in highschool and you’ve done so much for the zombies community before Cold War came out I never played zombies forever and I came across your videos, your the only one that kept the zombies community alive and after watching your videos I started playing again bin playing since. As a sophmore I can support the fact that high school, especially near the end of the year is an absolute pain in the ass with sats and psats finals etc. Tim I'm sure most would agree that it is understandable that your upload schedule is not as good as usual. Personally I love your content and thank you for being that one youtuber who uses sarcasm. Thank you for being a part of the RUclips community.

I was in 6th grade when bo1 came out so yeah time flys.
after waiting almost 2 weeks for another map vid , just got home from work ready to chill smoke a bowl and get my zombie fix .
what I LOVED about shangrie la is that the last 4 or 5 maps it was all about training, but with shangrie-la you couldn't, so you ran around the map, used the many different ''gadgets'' like the slide, minecart, geysers, you used the map and it's features as a mean to succeed and not a part of it while never going into other zones ever again
I recently found your channel and you’ve re-kindled my love for zombies. Following Tranzit I stuck with Black Ops 1 zombies and then took a few years to play other games. I still find it hard to enjoy some of the newer maps, but I’m getting the hang of it.
I remember playing this map when I got home from school everyday I was so happy every time I seen the load up scre en!

I loved it, made it to round 27 my first 4 person play through on 360, we were ranked like top 100 in the world for a day or so.
Damn this brought back memories. When ascension first came out me and my friend had the #1 spot on the leaderboards for 2 players on Xbox, round 88 🤕 Now we don't even care much about zombies anymore and just stick to bo3 for fun and to rank up. It used to be a religious love for high rounds and leaderboards 😢

Haha I love the fact that my favourite zombie map hasn’t changed since the First Strike DLC in black ops,
Ascension will always be in my heart. And the remastered version is visually pleasing but so damn easy. Honestly you can make it to any round you wanted to if you had the patience. Either that or my almost 10 years of love for that map just made me a god on it.

This map was, and always has been awesome! Teamwork doing the Easter egg is so satisfying!
I haven't played on shangri-la since the end of bo1's life cycle. I barely played it because it being so compact and confusing to traverse. That and it scared me, honestly because of how it made me panic a ton because of me not wanting to go down.
When Bo1 came out, I wasn't even that great of a player, only making it to round 14 or 15 at most with randoms. Even with that said, I will never forget the moment Shangri-la released. First day it came out and my first time playing the map, i went in with randoms (I never played solo until BO2), I was so happy. Map was bright and colorful, the designs and surroundings were detailed. New zombie types (shrieker and napalm) and never having been lost of where I was at before. It amazes me, that my first ever map I broke my round 15 limit, was my first time playing Shangri-la. Got to round 17. After that, I then began started to break more and more barriers because Shangri-la showed me what I needed to do

I loved this map. Unfortunately none of my friends really did so we didn't play it much. But the thing I loved most about this map was the amount of teamwork required to survive. Not to mention the cart and waterfall are just so fun to use
Now Black Ops 1 even has texture glitches on guns 🤦♂️
@Brandon M It's a map pack glitch or something that happens on Black Ops 1, I get it. I think it's something to do with the backwards compatibility since I know Tim uses Xbox One to play usually
Idk, I think there’s other maps that are better looking. DE is a perfect example of that, snowy with an amazing view of the mountains!

I love Shangri la, it’s so chaotic and even when I set up with all my perks and guns, I don’t ever feel safe
my favorite thing about old school waw, bo1, and bo2 zombies was maps could be fun/challenging w/o being complex. even a map like origins isnt really super complex when u really think about it as most of the really complex features are optional
The fact that they remastered this shitstick instead of call of the dead shows how much treyarch knows what's good

Shangra la you HAVE to play with multiple players. I just did the ee and had a lot of fun. A LOT of fun. The map is beautiful and very interactive, I just wish it was a little larger and the zombies do blend in making them hard to spot.

a map that changed the community's look on how to play a map. going from camping in waw, to fundamentally changing to training in the start of bo1. this map came out of nowhere to switch it on us. very controversial at the time, and for quite a few years after. a hated map. but it's made a comeback, and i'm glad. it's not a map i play often. usually it's for the easter egg. and man is this easter egg awesome. i remember refreshing ngt during its release waiting for new steps to be discovered. the transition to eclipse and back and the progression markers just made this easter egg awesome to me. it even influenced maps like ancient evil with those markers. brock and gary are part of one of my favorite side timelines in the entire story. just love their story personally. this was the map i was actually most excited for when zc was releasing. it's gorgeous. great map, and probably will be up there for me for a long time.
I absolutely loved this map when it first came out.
I watched one of JC's high round streams on Shangri La when Zombies Chronicles came out and him playing it and doing high rounds, chilling with chat and enjoying the map made me realize it's not a bad map at all. It's easily one of my favorites now even if I don't play it much
I love Shang 😍 Just got to round 40 on coop plus the ee. It was fun how difficult it was, and the easier the maps have gotten, the better Shang has aged

Getting to 50 on this map was such a satisfying challenge to complete. I never used to play Shang because I was a bad player. I could barely make it to round 5 but then a year or two later I revisited Shang, and after getting to 30, decided I wanted to try to get to 50. For me the challenge is setting up without dying, and then at around 20 I start to get into a rythym and from then on it's a breeze. Shang is now my favorite map of all time. It moved from about 19th on my list to 1st. I think the people who don't like this map are just not good enough yet
