Congrats Dave on the tech advisor job! I was an extra for 2 days on a big-budget sci-fi suspense thriller with some big stars. Pay was great for doing hardly anything, catering was phenomenal, and the people were amazing. Was really neat to see how the Hollywood sausage is made, and a good way to network and get follow-on work.
