  • You will be amazed that such a degraded site could be regenerated at all - but particularly given the controversy at the time that became known as ‘The Battle of the Brush!” This dramatic work helped us break free of dogma and assess the resilience of each site on its own terms.
This is the third short film in AABR's documentary series: ‘Bush Regen Heroes’
Link to a recording of the launch on July 4 2024, including a Q and A • Rescuing Wingham Brush...
The production of Rescuing Wingham Brush was made possible with the support of financial sponsors:
    The Paddy Pallin Foundation
BARRC (Bushland and Rainforest Restoration and Consulting)
    Robyn Becket
    Marion Lugg
    Georgina San Roque
    Janet Fairlie-Cuninghame
And voluntary contributions from Tein McDonald, Virginia Bear and other AABR project team members.

Thanks,. It would be great to speak to you sometime to see how bush regeneration is incorporated into Landcare in your patch. I gave a talk through Queensland Water and Landcarers last year and am keen to strengthen ties. There has also been some interest in starting a Queensland Branch of AABR.

Yes, it was amazing to see her letter to the Wingham Brush bush regen team - and be able to include it. And John Stockard supplied that photo of Joan Bradley and the bush regen team that I had not seen before.
