While you can rely on climate change for milder temperatures, I'm not sure you can rely on it for less rain: the Netherlands is a rainy country, and if you're there for less than one year, maybe you've been misled because this year has been drier than usual. As regards to Madrid, it is true that it is super hot in summer, but the humidity is low, while in the rest of the year there is a lot of sunshine, and you can enjoy many sunny days even in winter. I agree that wages are lower though.

This is very tentative, but the climate in the Netherlands seems to shift from one with four distinct seasons, to one with a mild wet winter (basically a long autumn) from November to April and a dry, warmish summer with heatwaves from May till October. But it is of course way too early to tell if this is structural.

Thanks for the video 🤗, it's interesting to see your point of view of Spain. As a Spaniard that I am 😆, I want to tell you that I generally agree with what you say. Regarding the heat, it depends a lot on the area of Spain, the north of Spain is cool, for example in Santander in summer it is usually 22 degrees in summer. Many Spaniards travel to the north in summer for that reason, it is also a richer area and there are beautiful places. The central area, like Madrid, in summer is an oven 🔥, but in winter it is very cold, this is because the Iberian Peninsula rises about 600 meters above sea level and the weather is extreme. I am from one of the most beautiful towns in Spain 😜, Altea, which has summers of about 30 degrees and winters of about 20 degrees. In the neighboring town, Albir, there is a Norwegian colony of about 8,000 people who usually live here in winter and go to Norway in summer, it's ideal🤭. In summer everything is very noisy in the tourist areas 😣, I am very calm and I don't like the noise, that's why I live in a town called Polop, 10 km from Altea, it is in the mountains and it is a quiet residential area.

Regarding salaries and work, Holland is much better without a doubt. Indeed, many Spaniards go to work in the Netherlands and other countries, especially nurses and engineers. In Spain there are few jobs for qualified people. Spanish salari are low compared to the Netherlands 💶💶😮.

For me, the place you've been, costa dorada ... I don't like it very much 🙄. I think that one of the most beautiful places in Spain to spend the summer is the Costa Blanca, with towns like Altea and Calpe, the problem is that in summer they are full 😥. The Malaga area is also very beautiful. And Menorca😍, it is beautiful and quieter than Mallorca or Ibiza, they are the three Balearic Islands. Then there are places like Granada with the Alhambra 😮, incredible.

Regarding security in Spain, it is in the European ranking almost the same as the Netherlands. About the bars on the windows it is because you are in a tourist place and those places in summer are more dangerous, in addition there are many second residences of Spaniards that remain empty for many months... 🙄

This heat is the pure madness. I have never been to these southern countries like a Spain but I can barely stand the heat in Poland right now. I can imagine how it is in Spain. Not for me. Maybe in winter.

Spain is economically a wreck. They sustain a lot of income by tourism. The country itself is not rich. But as all nations its touristic where you are now. Though the service and everything is below standards for me.
