I am just going to say this, I did not have a good experience with the kiwi extended grip. First, this didn't really matter too much, but the grip kept going over the grip trigger. This wasn't too bad, until a day or 2 which I kept having to move the grip and restarting the headset because it wasn't letting me use the trigger throughout the oculus menu. If you play active games like beat saber and gorilla tag, the controller grip kept shaking around which was VERY hard to play with. they were a big waste of money (especially for 30 British pounds) since I took it off and I'm on the edge of trying to get an AMVR controller grip.
I bought a second headset and my kid kept my older model Kiwi covers. I was trying to decide between the normal sized Kiwi covers and the extended grips. I don't have big hands, but I like some of the features from the updated grips. I don't have large hands, so hopefully they are still a better option than the regular sized covers from Kiwi.
Well, there both good but i have tried both and the larger kiwi grips throw your balance/accuracy off a bit, however if your hands are big they should be fine 👍
@@rabbitduck5902 They are being delivered today, so I'll find out soon. :) I would like to see them do a version 2 of the standard sized grips. If nothing else, release them with more colors.
Hey My Tech Gear, I’m currently looking for an handstrap form my quest 2 controllers. Having used the headstrap from Kiwi design i had great faith that the handstraps would have the same price/quality. However having read many 1star review from Amazon it seems to break often around the top part of the strap (the silicone ring holding the button at the top). This does seem to not be resolved yet. Now looking at other designs the same problem comes back again due to not using other materials for the connection at the top. Is this the fault of the customers strapping it to tight or is this a overall problem? If you personally don’t have this problem or have other suggestions I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance.
I’ve never had a problem with any hand strap doing that. If you over-tighten the strap and pull on it a lot then any hand strap is at risk I would say. Just look after your gear and it will look after you 😊
gorilla tag player here. i bought one of these grips because i just kept dropping my controllers and i was afraid that it can break, i just got them yesterday and they work great! not sure what the brand was but it’s a easy attachment and besides from the knuckle strap being a little small it’s great!
