  • Welcome! In this video, I transform a leggy Satin Pothos (Scindapsis pictus), also known as Silver Pothos, into a (soon to be!) lush, trailing houseplants by replanting the cuttings back in with the mother plant.
I pruned the overgrown vines in a previous video & rooted those Satin Pothos cuttings in water. After a few weeks, I reintegrated them for a fuller, healthier look. If your Satin Pothos plant is looking leggy or sparse, this propagation & planting technique is perfect for revitalizing its appearance.
This step-by-step tutorial is great for beginning houseplant gardeners or those new to growing Satin Pothos.

I use an old dryer sheet or hand wipe in the bottom of pots. They work great for keeping the dirt in the bottom of nursery pots.

I refused to buy any of those because I knew I’d go down the hole of wanting all the different kinds. I have most of the standard pothos varieties and the philodendron ones.
