Hey love the vids because of you i can play the guitar!!! Can u teach us this song Come tomorrow by: George town ruclips.net/video/TRcldqi1kUY/видео.html
You helped me learn guitar 10 years ago in my college dorm when I was going through a horrible depression. You'll never know the impact you made on my life- thank you Marty.
Hi Marty! I'll turn 65 in about 3 weeks and have been a strummer for the past 45 years. Watching your blues vids has caused something to "click". This old dog is finally learning some new tricks! Thank you! Much Peace and All Goodness.
Thats not really a fedora, it's a small brimmed hat, true gumshoe fedoras from the 30s 40s and 50s are wider brimmed. Its almost like a latin or spanish version of the fedora
I went to school for music theory 10 years ago. I had no comprehension of how to apply scales and music theory to playing guitar and actually stopped playing altogether. Over the last few weeks, I've been watching Marty's video's and I've been practicing on my acoustic. Tomorrow I am picking up my first electric guitar and I am so stoked to start getting back into playing guitar again and learning blues from Marty. Dude, you have some of the best video's out there and you make things work so well. Thank you for doing this and I hope to meet you one day and shake your hand man. Best. Jordan B
@@ericjohnson4877you’d never believe it, I have that awesome electric guitar and it plays beautifully and it hangs nicely on my wall in my living room where I walk past it everyday and admire it but don’t play it :) not as much anyway. And all that is my responsibility for not having integrity behind my word. I did shred for a few months practicing everyday when I was watching these videos, however I just don’t play as much anymore. And Marty still rocks!!! Thanks for asking and following up!
@@GoBigler Don't beat yourself up over it. For me the best motivation is to find other musicians to play with, always gets me into the music, makes me want to play more
I'm a 72 year old and I never tried playing any lead but you inspire me , Marty. I'll never be a lead player but I hope to learn how to fill in some as a single player in my one man band keep it going. your spot on
listen man... ive been listening you for 5 years now but this lesson is amazing. i think it just touched me because of the stage i am in my playing now. its on time for me where i am now. you are extraordinary sir. God bless you sir. you and the guitar are one and the same. its like you were born with an extra limb, and its that of this stringed instrument. seeing this lesson has given me the confidence i needed to keep on pushing. you make excellence with this craft available for us all. you dont hold back secrets, you freely give and for that i thank you sir. if you were to stop right now youve given more to the guitar world that most people would find in many life times. cant say enough about the legacy you've left behind for me for us and the ones coming after us. thank you for sharing your soul with us all.

Brilliant Marty you make so much sense. What I like about your tutorials is it's 80% playing and 20% talking all the other guys it's the other way round and it does my head in 👍💪😊
Hi Marty, ive been following you for quite sometime, you totally changed my life helped become the musician iam today, when covid-19 isnt here, locally play around town three or different places a week, and ive allways made the time sit down with you look ,listen, play, practiice, and learn, you should remember me, My stage name is Jeri lynn Arnold and me the musician iam today, bless you man ,iam allways looken, thank you so much
I love ya Marty you've hel poo ed me improve so much. You a good teacher who explains it in a way we can understand. I'm from the era where rock guys wernt into the scholastic side of anything. Now there are so called nerds that play and obviously there better than the other guys because they learn like at school. But for me personally you've helped me have fun on the guitar
Thank you Marty! Love your lessons. I will get your courses one of these days! I actually started watching you a couple years ago and learned some great harmonica stuff! Thanks for that too!!! Keep Rockin!
Just needed to say thank you for all of your videos Marty. They honestly have really helped. I picked up my dad's j45 on day 1 of quarantine and haven't put it down since. You have helped me so much with your videos. Thank you again. Looking forward to more
Marty for real has taken a musician who can play about any instrument but wanted to become a master guitarist in my older years and changed 25 years of guitar playing. I never cared enough to take it serious. I only played when I needed it for a song we were working on or just for fun. Now people are going “is that you or are you playing a song through the amp?”
Another awesome lesson! Marty I wanna thank you for not only teaching 90% of what I know on guitar this past year but also your spirit gets me through my work days watching your videos on breaks. Cheers to you man!
Beautiful Marty! Thank you for sharing this lick. You make it easy to follow even complicated riffs. Awesome brother! Keep Trucking Marty! Bless ya, for making music for so many. During these trying times, it's such a fresh breeze to see you bringing Joy into homes.
@marty - thanks again man - I can't yet play as fast as your super fast stuff, but you've given me the foundation to build on. Appreciate your time Marty!
thank u so much marty for this and your countless other lessons , heres my situation i love playing and listening to metal but for whatever reason playing the blues flows out of me and even when i put on a jamming track i can play for 20 minutes without getting block or stuck but doing the same with metal which i love n listen to i feel im not as good (im getting more into blues music ive listen to john mayall n the blues breakers album a few times now all the way through, ofcourse ive always love hendrix but the yardbirds n clapton im really loving the guitar riffs for almost as much as some of my favourite guns n roses or megadeth songs!, my musical /guitar journey is exciting im discovering new music ive never listened to n thought was "lame" when i was kid and im loving to listen n play it
