Many ask us....what is better to run CAT6 or Fiber wiring in..a existing office or brand new construction?
When running network cabling in new construction, most of the cabling will need to be installed from scratch. This would involve laying the cables, drilling pathways for them, and installing the necessary hardware such as patch panels and outlets. This is a more complex process than running cabling in an existing office, as it requires more planning and careful attention to detail to ensure that the cabling is correctly laid and installed.
In an existing office, network cabling typically involves making repairs or upgrades to the existing set up. This could involve adding more outlets and patch panels, running conduit in existing walls, and ensuring the cabling is up to date. The process can be more straightforward than new construction, as there are often already existing pathways and hardware to take advantage of. However, it is still important to take caution and ensure that the cabling is running safely and according to regulations.
