@@Peace2yaa I’m a novice sewer; my handwheel suddenly jammed with a clunk, no movement after sewing fine. I got brave (or stubborn?!) after watching this video, plus one on how to take the front off, and this one: ruclips.net/video/TUxkGZSg7ZM/видео.html The last video is a man cleaning and pushing a big metal bit, I sort of tried that a bit (different model) plus q-tips/ear buds to clean the metal vertical shaft and got a little movement! That pushed me on :) There was still a lot of resistance, I think mine was getting stuck on the shaft so I cleaned that lots and put on some lubricant oil that came with the machine (never used it before, but was desperate). Cleaned everywhere I could while it was apart and slowly got more movement. On the handwheel side was lots of yellow grease, left that except for cleaning a big metal thread and then spreading some of the grease back around. I don’t know if any of this helps you but something in all that got mine working, so sharing in case, good luck!

debbie keele it’s important to understand that not everyone knows you can take the machine pieces off to clean it. Many people think that only a technician should take the plates off and start digging around inside. That’s why so many people are watching this video, to learn how to take the plates off and what to do and what not to do in order to clean and assess your machine and figure out why it’s not functioning correctly.
@@NicoleHerrickDIYthat’s exactly why I’m watching this video. I was uncertain as to the removal of the top plate. My machine is also jammed. Thank you for your video
Bron tea unscrew they needle and try to pull it out, you may need to cut a few threads here and there. Also try jiggling the wheel to help free the fabric.
@@NicoleHerrickDIY I managed to unstuck the thread inside the thread guide when I put my machine in a lying position. Then the stuck thread suddenly came out. Normally I don't encounter this. Its just my thread maybe got some crumpled small thread. Thanks Nicole
Roger Watson an error 6 usual means the thread is tangled. Try taking out the Bobbin putting it back in. Also rethread the whole machine. If that doesn't work, try a new needle.
I fixed my error E6 just by making sure before I thread the machine my presser foot is up and my flywheel is aligned with the line of the machine... error E6 gone
Because that’s the search term most people use when their machine has stopped working. If you’re machine won’t run any more, you say “it’s broken” It’s not misleading, it’s helpful. @@waihekesmurf4485 Unfortunately, no :( Still sitting here the same. I literally don't know what's wrong with it. I was using one minute, the next, zilch! Literally within seconds and I was lost. I've taken parts of it a part, but nadda. I don't see anything or reason as to why it's locked up.
@@Peace2yaa I’m a novice sewer; my handwheel suddenly jammed with a clunk, no movement after sewing fine. I got brave (or stubborn?!) after watching this video, plus one on how to take the front off, and this one: ruclips.net/video/TUxkGZSg7ZM/видео.html
The last video is a man cleaning and pushing a big metal bit, I sort of tried that a bit (different model) plus q-tips/ear buds to clean the metal vertical shaft and got a little movement!
@@waihekesmurf4485 Wow really??? I have taken everything that had a screw in it out/off and still nothing. This machine could not be any more clean than when I bought it. And still nothing. I'm happy for you however friend! Wish that would happen with mine. I've only had it a couple of yrs and now wishing I had gotten some kind of extended warranty or something. Anyhow, have a wonderful evening Smurf lol
@@Peace2yaa did you check the button at the back of your machine, if it is in the right position?
Nice video 👍👍👍
Thank you
From a distance, at 2:23 I can see a Lint Skull.
Ohhhh I see it also!
My pin won’t move up and down what do I do
Scarlett 14 you need to clean out the upper part of your machine. Here is my video on how to do that. ruclips.net/video/nySznUlUP1s/видео.html
The coin idea is genial!!
U may want to fix ur title. To how to CLEAN ur machine ..
debbie keele definitely
debbie keele it’s important to understand that not everyone knows you can take the machine pieces off to clean it.
@@mitchabshier568 you’re so welcome, I’m glad it was helpful.
Thank I got mine fixed 😊
I ADORED THIS!
Mines like this but my fabric is stuck with the needle down and I can't get it out!
Bron tea unscrew they needle and try to pull it out, you may need to cut a few threads here and there. Also try jiggling the wheel to help free the fabric.
Same happened to me I had to cut part of the fabric, followed the steps in video and now is back to normal!
my needle litterly broke in half i dont know what to do
What are you turning it with
Do you mean to make the needle go up and down? The wheel on the right side of the machine.
@@NicoleHerrickDIY i believe i fixed it. This video helped me from buying another one. Thank you
@@elimitchell6147 ohh that’s great!!!
I ran into another problem. Where it gets stuck and the bottom bobbin case pops out
@@elimitchell6147 ok have you checked to see if the needle is bent? Does it spin properly if the needle is not in?
If anyone is watching this. You need to switch off your machine before you do this.
Amanda Rossouw indeed! I should have mentioned that.
How to fix stuck thread in thread guide?
Royal Queen I generally just pull on it to snap the thread then pull out any parts of the thread and rethread.
@@NicoleHerrickDIY I managed to unstuck the thread inside the thread guide when I put my machine in a lying position. Then the stuck thread suddenly came out. Normally I don't encounter this. Its just my thread maybe got some crumpled small thread. Thanks Nicole
Hi Nicole. Thanks for the reply, but my problem is not solved because its the Drive belt tension that causing the needle not to move Up or Down
Enica Gouws well it sounds like you now know what the problem is so you can easily get it fixed.
God Bless you!!!!!
Thanks so much!!!
You’re very welcome
I'm getting error E6
Roger Watson an error 6 usual means the thread is tangled. Try taking out the Bobbin putting it back in. Also rethread the whole machine. If that doesn't work, try a new needle.
I fixed my error E6 just by making sure before I thread the machine my presser foot is up and my flywheel is aligned with the line of the machine... error E6 gone
Thank you!!!
hjkahvedjian you’re welcome!
Thank you😂😅🙏😃
@@Isa7845 you’re so welcome
i love you so much. so much.
Saved me thankssss
👍🏻💕
😂😂 Good Stuff🤙
A year without your baby…a YEAR???
These methods dosn't help pls fix it bc it really is still jamming
@@katherinecamacho4871 did you try cleaning above where the needle is? There’s a whole section inside there that can be cleaned out too.
you didn't even thread it!!!!!
I stopped the camera and threaded it then recorded again. I cut out anything that isn’t relevant to my videos so I don’t waste people’s time.
Lol 😃
OMG 😳
But why write broken because this is different. Mine is broken so it's the top that has the problem not the bottom. Pls dnt put misleading headlines
Because that’s the search term most people use when their machine has stopped working. If you’re machine won’t run any more, you say “it’s broken” It’s not misleading, it’s helpful. If you have issues in the top section, be sure to check out my video that deals with this. ruclips.net/video/nySznUlUP1s/видео.html
Hi mine broke the same as yours did and this video was not helpful. Could you tell me how or if you fixed yours?
Hi :) Have you had any issues with your feed dogs not feeding the fabric? Mine moves but barely touches the fabric so the cloth doesn't move at all :( I made sure the feed dogs are on the "up" switch too. Just trying my luck here since we have the same exact machine (youtube doesn't seem to bring up anyone with the same problem + machine). Thanks!
Perhaps there is some fluff that’s stopping them from going all the way up. Or if watched my video, I had sooooo much fluff covering my feed dogs which made them essentially flat.
@@NicoleHerrickDIY Thank you for the reply! It's not unfortunately, mine is pretty clean. It's ok, I'll keep messing with it and hopefully figure something out :)
Make sure the needle is in the fully down position when switching the feed dogs, especially when switching from the feed dogs down to back up.
@@lenzasti Thanks for the tip! I never knew that :)
THANK YOU!!
You’re welcome!
