Hiya, Also wanted to mention should you install /adda drive ( of just using one drive ) and you have proformance issue's check to see if you might need to update the firmware of said drive. Happend to me once my read and writes where only 30% of what is should have been, Updated the firmware of it and it worked like a charm
I have 3 x SSDs and 2 x m.2 installed in my pc. The M.2s are the C drive , which is a corsair MP600 which reads at 5000 m/s and other is a samsung 970. I cant tell any difference at all between any of the drives in general use. All my games are on a crucial Mx500 which writes at 500mb/s. in reality you just dont need the speed unless your moving massive files, yet i still buy them. :)
I agree- consistent top notch productions. Try doing videos on virus removal, popular game fps etc. Look at big views on different channels and mimic as your channels look dominates!
I created a W11 installation thumb drive for future use but want to know if you are required to connect to a Microsoft account to install W11. On a Windows 10 installation, you can avoid connecting to a Microsoft account if you have your ethernet cable disconnected and click to skip connection during the initial installation and can later connect and perform the needed updates.
Just a little concern ive seen around this drive and interested on your take on it, seen a few videos on this specific drive where it has deleted data wnd files on computers completely from random boots up and occasional tweaks in the bios (my guess is from probably non updated ones). My question being do you think this might have something to do with just the drive itself or maybe the widget Samsung magician not working correctly (or maybe that not being updated) ? Would be a big help to those installing these for the first time and not knowing what they could be risking.
The 970 evo plus has been good to me since release date. Windows 10 was so fast on it, Windows 11 is decent... ... it would be a sad day if i ever have to move away from it
@@Ladioz trying on my 970 evo and 990 pro and it stops towards the end of downloading windows 11 and restarts the pc assumed it was a samsung issue but unsure
Love your vids, but I have a completely unrelated question. I have now bought both the lianli sl infinity fans (3 pack) and the Galahad 2 trinity performance. Im just confused about how im supposed to wire everything up. The whole system has the lianli fans, and im using the lianli hub (Gonna use lianlis software)
ruclips.net/video/Mm85qMEYlDI/видео.html ^ this or just remember the port you connected those fans to and set them to respond to CPU temp in the Lian Li software
Is there any possible way the I may have incorrectly set up software wise or settings in the bios wise an NVMe ssd where it could cause stutter in games? Is it better to have games on a seperate drive to ur windows OS drive even if they r both NVMe? The only difference I made was delete or the partitions, never pressed the “new” button like u did and instead just pressed next on the “unallocated space” while it was highlighted.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Well… Ik these games r typical for this type of behaviour but UE5 games and dead space remake have major traversal stutter for me. Ik they do for everyone but for me it’s exacerbated by something. My ram seems fine, my cpu seems fine, my gpu seems fine so the drive seemed like the next thing to accuse. I have a 980 Pro that’s 4 yrs old. I used samsung magic years ago to update it over the years and it’s still up to date to my knowledge (even thou I haven’t had it installed for a while) so I don’t truely know that but I doubt they’ve rolled out another update. It also reported back on its health and the app says it’s a healthy drive with no issues. Even the recent space marine 2 seems to have lots of stutter for me which not many other ppl seem to be complaining about. I was told having it on a seperate NVMe to ur os was the way to go but I never thought it mattered. Even in an old game like destiny 2 I find myself stutter between world load zones. Which never used to happen to me but that is to be taken with a grain of salt since it’s been less and less optimised as they add and add to it. Also yeah I’ve done all the normal PC drivers except for Realtek audio and I just use the default audio drivers for my astro a50s/windows all up to date.
@@TheProvokedPrawn No a 5700X3D. I have the amd chipset drivers and BIOs up to date too. Months old cpu so it shouldn’t be that given I had these issues on my last cpu too. (I fresh installed windows after the install too).
@@TheProvokedPrawn In general, what can someone do to stop traversal stutter/stutter? I notice another type of stutter even when I cap my fps using RTSS and it goes from 59-60-59-59-60 like that. Ik it’s impossible to keep at a solid fps so Ik I shouldn’t be seeing stutter like that. I have gsync enabled like blurbusters say to. (Space marine 2 btw is where I cap it to 60 using RTSS and dynamic resolution scale set to 60). When I cap my fps at 80 and it goes 79-80-79-80 like I would in a game like GoW ragnarok (since it’s a stable fps cap for that game for me) I don’t notice it anywhere near as much if at all. This is a seperate issue to the traversal stutter btw which I don’t get in games like GoW ragnarok and Horizon forbidden west. Hope I’m making sense and thanks for attempting to help.
I do not even have these nor want them/ want to install them, but I truly appreciate your videos & the way you film them, 10/10 keep it up man !
I appreciate that!
I have it with my os on, its very very fast
I have one of these amongst my growing NVMe collection.
Thank you.
Great video was exactly what I needed to get mine working
Glad to help.

can i put gen4 nvme ssd to gen5 slot? TIA
It doesn't boot for me. Should I take out my existing SSD where I already have windows on it? And then try install windows on my m.2 SSD?

Not that I've experienced. What makes you think it's the drive? Have you tried the usual graphics drive updates, bios updates and windows updates?

Z790 I use 3x 990 pro’s just don’t use the top slot, as negates GPU max bandwidth. Not that it’s something you’d notice, but I’m anal.
Yeah it makes no difference currently
Hi, in the 4:17 in My pc it does not shows the nvme , what can i do?
I am running into the same problem! Have you found any fix to the problem by any chance?
