GHK Glock Improved Trigger Installation Guide and Review [Airsoft]

- I recently received an improved trigger from Samoon, for my GHK Elite Force Glock 17 airsoft replica. According to their website, this new trigger will provide "New Trigger Experience". I have no idea what that's supposed to mean, but what I hoped is that it would reduce the trigger pull. Unfortunately, if it did reduce the trigger pull, it was not enough.
Let's take a look at the installation process, and how the trigger performs.
Edit: Just a quick correction to this video. At the time of filming, I was not aware of the actual weight of the Glock trigger pull. The improved trigger is actually spot on. So, kudos to GHK for that! I primarily use airsoft guns, so the stronger trigger pull was not unpleasant, just unexpected. See my updated review and testing video: • GHK Glock Trigger Pull... you literally saved me from the broken trigger... sincerally thank you
Just bought a s/h one with AGGA317, it came with the original heavier trigger and has had the replacement installed, so this serial number doesn’t insure it’s the latest version.
I am having so much trouble getting the slide release spring back in place.
I finally did it lol
Muy bueno el video y muy bien explicado , me suscribo a tu canal y toma like , Saludos desde el mediterraneo
Thank you!
Checked with a few suppliers and even the latest stock they have received has the DA47861 number on the slide, so is the AGGA317 the alloy version?
I've heard that it's related to the region that it's being shipped to. AGG for Asia, DA for Europe and North America. However, I have no idea if that's true or not 🤷
Mine is AGGA317 and steel slide. I’m in New Zealand so I guess maybe they counted us into Asia 🤷🏻♂️
Hey Bro, nice job 👍🏼!
Can i ask you, do your slide already have the new serial number also?
Mine is from 2021 and has the already known DA47861, what is yours?
Thank you very much in advance!
Thanks! Both my slide and barrel are marked with DA47861.
@@thatgbbguy Oh, okay, because there’s a ( obviously ) third bunch of Glock 17 gen 3‘s, with the improved trigger and also a new serial number, AGGA317 !
@@Guncustomcoating79 Mine has that number too! And I got it in march 2023, so it will be the improved one, right?
@@NeilDjents i think so, but you can test it easily, pull the trigger, and if the trigger pull is easy and smooth, then you have the improved trigger unit inside.
Does this trigger have a noticeable reset? My GHK has a spongy trigger with a barely-detectable reset.
Yes, I'd say so. It makes a very audible click. Here is a video of it: imgur.com/a/MB95jsC
@@thatgbbguy Awesome, thank you :)
My ghk trigger isn't spongy it's plastic sounding and doesn't sound real it sounds like a airsoft trigger kinda disappointed in that.
It's not meant to have a standard airsoft trigger pull that's the problem airsofters think it's meant for them and it's not , it's meant for people who want to buy it for training for their real glock. It wasn't made in mind for a airsoft game why can't people understand that just because it's a 6mm gun don't mean it's made for airsofters such as the spartan 6mm glocks made only for military and law enforcement.
Some now have an AWA serial number, is that the newest.
I’ve only heard of AGGA317 and DA47861. So, I suppose that must be the newest one. Do you know if it is from the aluminum or steel version?
It’s from the steel version.
Some confusion here, the boxes have and have always had individual serial numbers, but that’s not the number on the actual pistol. Seems a stupid idea.
Oh, I didn't realize they had a serial number on the box until you mentioned it. That is the same number that is on the bottom of the rail.
I have asked a couple of UK shops & even their latest stock of the steel Glock has DA47861, so is AGGA317 the alloy slide model.
I bought a GHK Glock 17 with Steel Slide a few days ago. I need to take a look at it if this improved trigger is installed or not.
It's super easy to check. Are you a member of the heavy recoil club discord? There is tons of information about pretty much every GBB on there. Specifically, there is an easy comparison that you can do, without taking the trigger out. It's in the pinned comments on the GHK-Glock channel. Hope that helps 🙂
@@thatgbbguy thanks mate will have a look at it. ^^
Real glock trigger pull is between 5 and 5.5 pounds.
Ah, I was not aware of that. Thanks for letting me know!

Apparently you are under the MISCONCEPTION that GHK makes the EF Umarex G-17 Gen 4, it's actually VFC!!! Even the Umarex site says so.
Yes, they make a Glock, and so do KWC. However, this specific one is by GHK. It is not compatible with the VFC or KWC Glocks, nor are the mags. Furthermore, this is a Glock 17 Gen 3, not a Gen 4.
