Two of my favourites are, first, from Xanada, that sliding of the barre chord, but leaving the nigh strings unfretted as drones. and The Trees around the start of the vocals. Love playing both on my 12-string acoustic.
Your clean/dirty tone is great. Been chasing that forever, and would love if you did a short lesson on making a distorted tone that still allows upper end clarity when playing extended voicing. Additionally, you should definitely check out the band DGM. I bet you'd love em. EDIT: per your question at the end of the vid, for me it's gotta be Between the Wheels
Favourite RUSH riffs, well, there are so many. My favourite, fun RUSH song is Bytor and the Snowdog hence my YT moniker. There is a part between 2:53 and 3:39 of this recording which I particularly enjoy: ruclips.net/video/4vSA9OT0JCU/видео.html. It is Alex' solo and it remains one of my favourite guitar leads. Take any riff you like from it. Its all good.
His guitar work on Middletown Dreams is my favorite. Especially from a minute 30 on!
The Best ProG Class EVER!!!!
Thanks!

There are so many good Rush riffs!
You can have a whole ‘nother few videos on favorites riffs just within that songs. For example the bumpy ride at 9:03 ❤️
It’s true, this song is full of riffs!!
2112: The Temples Of Syrinx
