Dude those are perfect. They are bad ass. I will be getting some. I have been trying to figure out a way to get the sound where I want it because u can hardly hear my door speakers at all. This is it man. I'm sold. I have to figure out where to get them from now. U guys have so many new great products that it's absolutely insane.
Good luck to everybody!!! I've ben spreading the word a set of kicker 12s got me into audio whoever wins take pride in your install show this equipment some love good luck!!!
Head unit built in crossovers.. what am i using? The passive set up with the capacitor or just the passive? And full range on the head unit or high pass??? ?
If the head unit has a crossover, it is likely not meant to run an active system, meaning you don't have dedicated crossover controls for both woofer and tweeter. So the answer is you would use high pass for the doors, then send that signal to the passive crossover included with the speakers, which would then distribute signal to the woofer and tweeter.
Are these available yet? Also, I have kicker midbass. Can I use the midbass with the pods hooked up to the passive x-over and bi-amp it with the Keys 200.4 amplifier?
@@KICKER-AUDIO I guess I should have been more clear. I currently have Keys running bi-amp mode. It's powering woofer and tweeter. I know the Keys changes crossover automatically to 320hz high pass, I think, when it detects channels 1 and 2 to be on-dash speaker. Will these pods go down to 320hz?
@@vinht23 It should have no problem with that. But the passive crossover that's included with the pods would still need to be used. Without the crossover, the tweeter in these would play all the way down to 320Hz, which is a no-no.
hello. quick question. can you connect these pods with the kss650 componet set crossover? how do i connect this pods to my existing 360.4 kicker 4 channel amp
The KSS650 has different crossover points than the pods. Also, the pods come with their own crossover. Connecting the pods to an amp is the same as connecting any other speaker.
Hi Kicker Team, the video suggests to use a 400hz crossover at 12db. I really would like to limit extra wiring/DSPs/crossovers in my situation. My HU allows a high pass crossover of 300hz @ 18db. Would this be suitable? I figure the attenuation at 200hz is around the same in both situations. Thanks!
@@KICKER-AUDIO thanks for the reply. My HU actually goes from 300hz all the way to 1khz for the next option. That feels like a weird place to crossover given it's the middle of the mid range. Would appreciate any input!
Is it possible to hardwire my wireless bass controller to to a power source in my vehicle.... and if so what’s the minimum dC voltage to power the controller and max thank You...?
I believe they said 6.5" KS midrange speakers during UnMasked Weekly. It was a component set with tweet in the pillars, then the tweet swapped for these pods and all crossover work from the KEY200.4

I think they're finally filling backorders and shipping these out.

For running active, what’s the Fs value for the midrange and tweeter?
We will release T/S when we release the product in 2021.
En qué fecha estará disponible en México ?
All knobs to the right lmao 2:36

They're coming later this year. As far as the KEY, yes you can biamp. We have a specific setting for that built into the amp.

Possible, yes. Suitable, not as much since its a lower frequency than we recommend. Are you sure 400Hz isnt an option on your head unit?

I needed these last year before I bought sperate tweeters and 3 inch mids. Oh well..
