The busy beach is Porthcurno and the place on the cliffs is The Minnack Theatre that is an outside theatre cut into the rocks, all the inspiration of a lady called Rowena Cade about 100years ago, she built most of the theatre herself by hand.. It’s an amazing place and well worth a visit if you are ever in that part of Cornwall.
Agreed 👍i would recommend a visit to the Minnack for a show, but you have to book well in advance, but non the less, a fantastic event
Thanks for the information Sam, does sound amazing. When we were anchored there, in the evening we could hear music and clapping and cheering from there 👏
Congratulations for getting round 👍
On the plastic waste point, I have seen other channels stuffing plastic into a 5 litre disposable water bottle. You can pack and compress quite a lot into one and it cuts down on smells too.
Don't forget to wash shopping and remove labels when you get to the Canaries and beyond to stop cockroaches getting on the boat!
Yep ... googled what comes from burning plastic. As you would say, Scary!!
Yep, you'll likely take a few 5 litres water bottles. Once one is empty cut up the plastic and stuff it into the 5L bottle. One bottle will take pretty much everything on a boat for a couple of weeks (except any other bottles).
That's the route we are going to take Paul, compact it into bottles. We are going to remove all the labels off our tins of food and write on the tin with a permanent marker ✌👍
Fantastic trip guys, truly magnificent 👏
I've learnt a lot watching all your episodes, but the main lesson I guess is just get out there and do It!!!! Create memories...Can't wait for Atlantic episodes
Brilliant, really glad you have enjoyed the series, and yes if you can just get out there and do it 😀👍
Absolutely fantastic lads. Congratulations. Now cannot wait to see boat prep vids. Sunday evenings are my favourite!
Lovely Jonathan, thanks very much, its completed 😀. Preparations are coming 😁😁😁
Congratulations. When you cross the Atlantic take all stuff out of cardboard because of cockroaches and get a can crusher. For plastic you can squeeze it down and recycle it in Antigua when you land.
Thanks very much guys for taking me (on my hols) around the UK coast and letting me see so many places that I will have to put on my 'must visit' list - (especially around the Scottish coast)! Looking forward to your future adventures :)
What a lovely comment and all the thumbs up, fantastic, Scottish coast was my favourite 😀
Congratulations Bro’s! I thought the successful completion of the UK circumnavigation deserved a proper hug, not just a handshake! Well done you did brilliantly. Maybe after a successful crossing of the Atlantic the celebration will involve more enthusiasm and perhaps some champagne! Good luck and safe voyage
Thanks Peter, maybe we should have hugged instead of shaking hands, would have been more fitting. We will definitely have some champagne on hand and party poppers for a successful Crossing of the pond 😆😁👍
for plastic, watch latest episode of Free Range Sailing....they show how they deal with it.
I was thinking the very same thing. Surprising how much plastic wrappings you can fit inside one of those bottles.
Congratulations on a great series lads. Enjoyed the scenery, the banter, and the deeply intellectual, but philosophical debate, on what to do with plastic packaging en route. That was right up there with Quantum field theory, and the hard problem of consciousness. Good luck on your next adventure. Looking forward to it.
Thank you the Watchmen, we have thoroughly enjoyed the adventure onwards and upwards now 😀👍
Congratulations 🥳 lads! Fantastic. What an adventure … on to the next one now! Thoroughly enjoy your travels! Keep on recording them always, better than anything on TV ⛵️🌊🌞
Thank you Cara, what an incredible adventure is has been, so really enjoyed it as well and better than TV, wow 👏😀😊
@@TheSailingBrothers very proud of you both 🌟🌟
Well done boys, thanks for having us along with your journey! Looking forward to seeing what's next, all the best.
Absolutely disgraceful what they did with Lands End. That's what happens when you sell out to an American Company.
It is a real shame John 😔
Well done boys, great trip that was well documented.
It Will Be Forever on RUclips, fantastic 😀👌
Congratulations! Loved every minute of your Around Britain Circuit and looking forward to your next epic adventure.
Thanks Rod, much appreciated mate 👍

Super 😁👍
Be carefull sailing to the canaries and across the atlantic
I left from Falmouth in 1986 to do the same trip and never came back,
I'm currently sailing the south coast of Australia I'll keep an eye out for you ,
Well done lads
Thanks John, sounds wonderful to be sailing the coast of Australia, hopefully one day we will get there 👍😀
Boys
Just squish it down to nothing and put it in to bin bags ,you'll be surprised how small you can get it,for gods sake don't put it in the bilge,it will stink ,
We are going to put all our plastic into empty plastic bottles, that seems to be the most popular choice, thanks Nick 👍
Congratulations very enjoyable series,a little sad it's over but really looking forward to the big adventure and you'll be leaving the British winter behind you hope all goes well 😊🌞⛵🏴
Thanks Mark, we are very lucky to be leaving the British winter behind heading south to warm weather, does sound amazing and we can't quite believe it 😀😄

Just finished watching your around Britain series, really excellent stuff, entertaining, thought provoking, inspiring… NOW FOR GODS SAKE, EAT SOME VEGETABLES!!!
Thanks very much super glad you're enjoying the content David we are trying to eat more vegetables haha
We'll gone guy's great episodes 👍 it's be great watching ya'll going around England time for a little bit of a rest, for people discarding trashed into the ocean have a little consideration for marine life, save some enjoyment for the next generation, guy's I've totally enjoyed watching can't wait for the next episode 🤙
Thanks Winston, we are going to to put all our waste plastic into plastic bottles, store them until we are on land that's the best way of doing it. Thanks for watching the series 😀🙏😊
whos the wanker who gave this a thumbs down... Well done boys, from Brooklyn
Damn, that’s the weather we’d have got from Falmouth if we’d have left on schedule! We had a few issues to sort out on my new boat, including a mysteriously missing VHF arial. We left about a week later and got much rougher seas all the way to Newlyn. We decided to pull in there to avoid the incoming fog. Running into Newlyn in an Easterly was a bit scary, especially taking the mainsail down in the massive swell. Spent a couple of days there, then headed for Ireland. Lovely sailing conditions around Landsend and all the way home. It just kicked up a bit for the last few hours as we approached Cork.
I look forward to watching your next adventure to Tenerife and beyond. Horta looks amazing too. One day I’ll get there.
That's sailing for you, no matter how much you plan, things can go wrong, you have to be very flexible. Glad you made it safely 👍 we very much look forward to the new episodes being released 😀
Could that Bavaria be Martin on Jambo?
You never know 🤔
well done boys, will have to follow you on marine traffic, stay safe, and take care , loved all the vidios of around britain,
Thanks Brian 👌😊
Well done guys, thoroughly enjoyed following your circumnavigation, glad you're back safe and sound......but its not the end....only the end of the beginning.....looking forward to the preparations and following your Atlantic crossing and your first leg down to the Canaries. :-)
Thanks very much, we have thoroughly enjoyed making the first series, it's been amazing. We have already started the Atlantic adventure, the episodes are around 4 weeks behind as usual
Congratulations boys, it’s been a brilliant watch! I see you both got what my father always calls the channels which is from his merchant navy days of leaving Avonmouth and retuning home after months at sea… When you enter the Bristol Channel after a long voyage you know you aren’t far from home!
Thanks for your comments pill, getting to the Bristol channel felt like we were nearly home. Now we have the Atlantic adventure how to film and edit
Good on yer Guys. I have so enjoyed your cecum navigation of the UK, you now go down with Free Range Sailing for a successful trip. (Troy and Pascal cecum navigated Oz). Looking to the future, I wish you good luck and look forward to maybe meeting you in mid-Atlantic as you're sailing back to the UK and I'm on my way to Bermuda. So congratulations and thank-you for a great series. David
Thanks very much David, it has been one hell of a journey. Now we have the Atlantic circuit to come and all the episodes from that, hope you enjoy them and hopefully one day we will meet up.
Fantastic lads! Absolutely brilliant! I have loved watching all your British circumnavigation videos - in fact as i got nearer the end i had to slow down as didn't want it to be over! You are both such genuine guys - 'good people' - and it's been a real pleasure to 'hang out' with you both, and to have this wonderful tour of Great Britain. I so much appreciate your putting out these videos and i sincerely congratulate you on your achievement! I'll be glued to your 'Atlantic Adventure' series, and will certainly look into one of the options that i can support you in a modest way. But really, i just want to say thank you very much, and as is said, fair winds fellas! :)) Cheers!
Wow, thank you so much for that incredible comment, will really appreciate it 👍👍. It's been an absolute blast and pleasure filming all our antics and putting it together on RUclips, for everyone to follow us on this Great British adventure. Let's hope series 2 the Atlantic circuit will live up to the first series, thank you very much 😄😊🙏
Congratulations! Its a great achievement to circumnavigate Great Britain. And to do it the proper way, round the top via Orkney. Well done, boys, have enjoyed every episode..... thank you for sharing! Cannot wait for Series 2. Don't forget your sunscreen - Factor 50?
Thanks very much, it has been amazing to sail around Britain and document the whole thing on RUclips. Let's hope series 2 is even better, and yes we have factor 50 sun cream on board 😀😉
Lovely job lads, found ur channel as I am hopefully buying a 1980s 22ft and wanted to see what it's all about,
I got my work cut out forsure,
I'm a cornish lad and loved the local coast line views.
Was hoping u would be close enough to st micheals mount, but not the path you took.
Amazing journey,
Thanks for sharing
Welcome Kristoph. Get out on that water and enjoy yourself but be careful. Never been on st. Michael's Mount but would like to visit one day 👍⛵
I have just completed binge watching your 'Around Britain Sailing Adventure' and it was very entertaining, So' much better than watching TV. It brought back a lot of memories for me as I have been all around the UK and Irish coast. It is some of the best cruising in the world. I really look forward to watching the further episodes over the next couple of weeks until I catch up up to your present adventures. Stay safe and fair winds, sending you both' light, love and peace.⛵💚
Hi Fred
Super glad you enjoyed the around Britain series. It was fantastic to circumnavigate the British Isles and visit all those lovely places. Nice to bring back good memories for you. You have a lot of content to get through over the next couple of weeks. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your comment ⛵👌
What a fantastic series. Looking forward to your next adventure. Well done guys.👏⛵👍🏻
All the best,
Paul.
Thanks Paul, all hopefully the Atlantic series will live up to expectations 🙏
Many congratulations lads!
Looking forward to THE next adventure 😁!
Thanks for all the videos... Cheers
Thanks very much Brendan 👍😀
Congratulations on yoru circumnavigation! I've been following from the start. I've really enjoyed them all! Good luck with the Atlantic adventures - I can't wait to watch them!!!
It's been an absolute pleasure we have loved every second of the circumnavigation
An amazing journey guys - well done indeed! Looking forward to your next adventure for which, I'm sure the circumnavigation of the UK has put you in good stead. Just make sure Atlas is fit and ready and she'll see you through your journey safely. All the best.
Thanks Edward really glad you have enjoyed the series. Onwards and upwards if we look after Atlas she will look after us
Well done guys, quite an accomplishment. Looks like the boat needs a clean, those anti-slip placements looked truly gross. And I suggest you book an appointment to get your colons irrigated, that diet!! Good luck, glad you've made the AIS decision, keep yourselves safe.
She has had a good clean now and we have improved our diet eating more veg
Congratulations fellas, an awesome achievement and fabulous adventure. So happy for you and so looking forward to hearing of your forthcoming trip south. Rival 34’s rock!
Thanks, Rival 34s really do rock and they are really solid as we found out in the bay of Biscay
Get rid of any extra plastic you can, the rest stuff into a plastic bottle , then u are making an eco brick
Have heard of that Mel 👍
Well done Guys, inspiring stuff, really enjoyed the series and look forward to the next
Fantastic Simon, really glad you have enjoyed the series, hope you enjoy what's coming next
Thank you for all the effort recording this adventure, I have really enjoyed watching. Good look on your next adventure.
Thank you Paul, it's been a pleasure 😊
My Thanks to you two - you've been an inspiration. My wife & me will be upgrading from our Corribee to something bigger & we plan to live on it & try to emulate your amazing adventure next year. Good luck in your next trip - we'll be watching :-)
Wow Richard, that sounds amazing, we are so happy for you. We really hope you get to do it, you will love every second that's really made our day 😄👍
Totally agree Adam. We used to park at Lands End for free and wander about and take pics. I also remember as a child we used to park up in a lay-by and have picnics amongst the stones at Stonehenge, all totally free.
They promote tourism but councils screw you over everything and it doesn’t differentiate whether you’re a tourist or a local. Here in Burry Port we used to be able to park up and walk our dogs on our local beach totally free, now we have to pay for parking.
It's all totally changed from when we kids. Unfortunately it's all about making money now nothing really comes for free. If they can make money out of something they will
We are two women dinghy cruising sailors at Porthmadog and when time allows, we’d like to sail on longer adventures. We’ve loved the series around Britain and really appreciate how you have taken so much time and energy to share your experiences. It would be good to hear you being a bit less male in your assumptions of who’s around you, half the humans are women after all! Curious to know if you’ve been dinghy sailors and what your previous boats have been. Love how you acknowledge mistakes and celebrate little things, like lovely conditions, cheese buying and good chip shops. Thanks for taking us along your journeys. Look forward to meeting you someday out on the water. X
Thanks very much for your interesting comments Lizzie, we will certainly take them on board 👍
We sailed dinghies as children in Cardiff yacht club. That's where we caught the bug and the rest is ancient history. We loved making the round Britain episodes, it was fantastic to share our experiences with everyone, ladies and gentlemen 😁😎
Well done guys! I’m still playing catchup, but it is great to see you completing your journey. It has been great to watch & I am looking forward to your next adventures almost as much as you are! Fair winds 👍
Thanks Gary, super glad you're enjoying the videos
Well done to you both. Looking forward to your next great trip but there is only one problem - Alas I wont be there with you! Stay Safe and Bon Voyage for the Arc +
Thanks Brian 👌
Finally managed to catch up :)
Huge congratulations, have really enjoyed watching, and what an achievement. Can't
wait for the next adventure and will be watching closely!
Fantastic, thanks very much 👍
Well done Boys. Great job and great videos. Nice to see you both got the “channels” after passing Lands End. Good luck on the next trip. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching William, it's been an absolute blast 😀
Really enjoyed your videos. Look forward to the next passage.
😁👍 thanks
I know I'm a bit late but I've thoroughly enjoyed this series so much. Congratulations 👏 And now for me to catch up with your Atlantic venture.
Hey Mish, I see you have finished the around Britain series super glad you enjoyed it 🙏. Now for the Atlantic adventure, let us know what you think ⛵
Thanks Guys, I've really enjoyed every episode and its inspired me. Well done on an excellent presentation and for keeping it real ! I wish you the all the best and fair winds for the future and will watch eagerly. Cheers brothers 👍😄
Thank you very much for your lovely comments will Burns, cheers mate 👍👌
You mentioned your concrrn at getting the spinnaker as far forward as possible. I also had the same concern and merely ran the spinnaker guy under the anchor roller. It was far forward and outside the pulpit. Worked well. Try it (comment from New Zealand)
Next time we fly the Spinnaker we will definitely try and run the guy under the roller 👌. Thanks Donald
Congratulations Guys ! enjoyed every episode of your circumnavigation. All the best for your future adventures.
Thanks very much David 👍
da iawn boyos...onwards and downwards...thought i'd missed a couple of episodes but now i think i'm almost back up to date...not sure what internet coverage you're going to get on your next adventure but i'll keep my eyes open for you 👏👍
Thanks Brodie, internet should be pretty good on the mainland, but once we cross the Atlantic it will be very limited to mobile data, but we will still upload as usual, probably visiting lots of internet cafes 😅😁
Brilliant trip boys, thanks for sharing and showing us it’s not always plain sailing. Me and Mrs Cobwobbler are looking forward to following the big adventure. Good luck 🤞
Thanks Cobwobbler, it's been a pleasure sharing this adventure with everyone on RUclips 😄
Bravo, congratulations, huge round of applause!!!! A little sad you are finished and thoroughly enjoyed the series. Very sad that you didn't go into a harbour and have a crowd of people to applaud you home. Next time eh!
Thanks Pauleen, it was a little sad to finish the series, but onwards and upwards 👍, hopefully next time we will have that big crowd with party poppers etc
Well done guys, another fun video. I remember going round lands end inside longships early morning at sun rise in absolute flat calm going from Milford Haven to Helford. Take off all the planting wrapping before you leave then store in in a 5 litre plastic bottle. Watch the latest episode of Free Range sailing where they do exactly that. Have fun.
Thanks Richard, Land's End on a good day can be completely flat. We are going to store all our used plastic in empty drinks bottles 😁👍
Well done guys, that’s the last one of your round Britain trip watched, now on to the Atlantic crossing videos. It’s been brilliant watching all your hard work on screen, the editing has been superb, the format really honest & engaging and the journey inspirational.
You two are easily the most ‘real’ sailing channel out there and we take our hats off to you, well done, well done indeed.
Thank you so much for your very kind words 🙏. Super glad you enjoyed the around Britain series, we thoroughly enjoyed doing it. With our channel we film it how it was, honest and real. Onto the Atlantic adventure 👋😁
Well done chaps- looking forward to following your next adventure. Powered by Cheese!!!
Haha oh yes
Brilliant! Loved watching you guys. Can't wait for the next adventure. Proper tidy!
We are super glad you enjoy it
Congratulations on your successful trip! I am impressed how little trouble you had with your boat. I am sure much prep was involved other than luck.
Lots and lots of preparation and we look after the boat William. We never push her too hard ⛵
I have really enjoyed every episode. Thanks for all your time and effort to make this my favourite. I watch primarily for the sailing and coastal interest but you are both very engaging. Congratulations on the trip and I look forward to the next.
Thank you so much that is absolutely fantastic comment I will read it out to my brother we are just super glad people enjoy watching what we make
Congratulations! Great video record of your circumnavigation. Look forward to following your journey West
Cheers Derek, it was an absolute blast
Enjoyed the trip. Looking forward to the next one. Decant everything you can before you’re next trip, take the minimal amount with you and then crush the rest
Cheers Mat, thanks for your advice
Nice one lads, well documented all the way and excellent prep for your new adventure. Keep us updated you’ve got a good following out here all egging you on .Gonna try sailing round Britain myself next year, so was good to see your experiences. Stay safe all the best from Cornwall
Thanks Adam, it has been one hell of a journey. If you can sail around Britain we say do it, we have an incredible island
Great work lads, a job well done. Thankyou for sharing your journey around the coast of the UK.
Looking forward to the start of the next adventure.
Thanks for watching Graham 👌 without you guys the channel would not exist ✌
Those dolphins near the end are common dolphins. Smaller than the bottlenose dolphins you saw down near the Isle of Wight. Pretty too, with a distinctive hourglass shape on their flanks.
Wow thanks for the information
I was thinking about your set up for the kite you're flying. Could you add a soft shackle of dynmma about a foot or so long and attach the sail which could push the clew beyond the bow...... ?
We could do that is something we will look at thanks for that information always valuable
09:33 is the Minack open air theatre... They run plays during the summer months, and has unique views across the bay...
Thanks John 👌
I now have an inkling what it must be like to be Welsh!
😁🤣
Well done - enjoyed all your videos.
On the plastic front some sailors put cans over the side as the islands don’t want your rubbish in their landfill, so better for then to decompose at the bottom of the sea.
Navionics is great going along the coast, ( I use it) but as soon as you go across a channel with tide across the beam without plotting a course to steer, giving a straight line course. You end up with a curve route adding distance.
Thanks that is a very interesting comment
Well I came across you by accident and I have loved every minute of your adventures. So looking forward to your next big adventure. X
We are glad you're here to thanks for your lovely comments
Well done, thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Enjoyed every episode.
Cannot wait for you’re next adventure around the Atlantic circuit.
Stay safe and Congratulations.
Thanks very much nick really appreciate that
Congratulations on completing the round Britain passage. Good luck for the next chapter.
Thanks Simon 👌
Congratulations sailing bross! I followed every single episode sailing around your country. Soon you will visit mine. See you in Spain!
Thanks Daniel 😁
Well done fellas great trip and you did a great job filming it all thanks.
Looking to following your Atlantic adventures.
Cheers Lee ✌
you guys are brilliant, well done, can't wait for more!
Lovely to hear Sarah
Free Range Sailing have a good solution for plastic waste - they talked about it in their last video
... I'm not sure that lighting deliberate fires on the boat is such a great idea 🤣🤣🤣
Cheers Guy, will take a look 👍
Well done guys! I enjoyed it all from the first until the last episode. We all saw how you developed yourselves. Sailing you already could, and how! But while you were almost shy and unexperienced in the beginning we saw always better camera men and reporters. And as a person from the Netherlands- an excellent country to sail with long seafarer traditions btw - I learned a lot about Great Britain. Am looking forward to your new episodes!
Thanks very much dick for the lovely comment it really made us smile you are a star. Great Britain is a lovely place to sail around it's amazing the coastline is fantastic
Well done, really enjoyed watching you sail around UK. good luck for your next adventure, I envy you and can’t wait to see how you get on. 👍
Thanks very much Nobby, can't wait for the first episode of the Atlantic adventure to come out
Awesome trip fella's well done , you could buy some large water jugs with sealable lids and when you have used / drank the water you can use them to store your plastic by compacting the plastic into them with a piece of dowel stick etc.
You could rinse off the plastic with a bit of salt water and with the sealed lid of the water jug it should contain any residual smell.
Thanks for the great advice, we will definitely be storing all plastic in empty bottles it's the way to go we think ✌
Well done chaps you've done really well and what a great series. Looking forward to your Atlantic passage.
Thanks very much Ian we are looking forward to it too hope you enjoy it
Very well done guys. Great achievement and to document it on RUclips is no mean feat. Onwards to the next adventure. Andy UK
Thanks Andy, it has been an absolute blast 👍
Great, looking forward to your next adventure. Just when will that be? Have fun!!!
We have already started the Atlantic adventure John, the episodes are around 4 weeks behind due to editing etc, you can keep up-to-date through our Facebook page the same brothers, cheers bud 👍
Well done lads on your around Great Britain. Now I can start following your voyage to the Canaries! ⛵️
Thanks Hugh 😀 the Atlantic adventure awaits
Well done lads. really enjoyed following you around Britain and watching you grow and gain more experience every day. Will follow you on your next trip.
Thanks very much very Les, much appreciated 🙏. Really glad you have been enjoying the adventure with us
Great videos, watched and loved every minute. Can’t wait to see what happens next… and yes your sails look fine to me 😁
Our sails had a health check they are in excellent condition 😉
Thank you for a great sail gentleman. Awesome. I am looking forward to your next 9k and the prep before you go.
It's been amazing, onwards and upwards to the next adventure 😀
Well done guys ! Great adventure and enjoyed following it ! Looking forward to the canaries and Atlantic !
Thanks Richard 👌
awesome another Sailing Brothers Episode is out!!! Whoot! 👀👍👌🎉
😁👍👍👍
Congratulations to you both, really enjoyed the journey around the UK with you guys , best of luck on your next adventure.
Thanks very much John much appreciated
Iv seen alot of sailors on atlantic crossings using a large water bottle (~10 gallon) and stuffing it full of all the plastic waste as they cross, keep it lashed to the deck and find a recycling point at the destination.
We are going to store all our plastic in plastic bottles and recycle them when once we get to land 👍
