Cable has been one of my all time favorite superheroes for years. He's way deeper and complex than what most people initially see him for. And he has one of the best orgins in comic book history.
Yup. Casuals and clowns just say "dUr TyPiCaL 90's hErO"... You can tell they never read Cable, if they can even actually read. Cable is probably the only character in Marvel that canonically created himself... If he never traveled back to ancient Egypt to kill En Sabah Nur before he became Apocalypse, Apocalypse wouldn't have existed, and wouldn't have been around to infect Cable with the technovirus. That is why I hated how they did Apocalypse in the movie... They had the perfect opportunity to introduce 2 fresh characters, have a compelling story, AND tie it in to all the others that came before it, but instead we got Ivan Ooze.
Cable is one of the best fighters in the MU. He beat Captain America twice (and one of the those times Cable was in severe pain and near death from his Techno-virus) and even stood his ground against the Hulk for a short while.
I remember that big reveal. In fact an old magazine named Wizard actually suggested that that specific Uncanny X-MEN issue was Cables origin, as did numerous fans who wrote in. It was the first time that I experienced a crazy fan theory become a reality and realized how much fun it was to speculate and debate with fellow fans.
I was around for all those books and read alot of them i just never found him interesting at all . nor understood his story really, too much back and fourth and sideways to really give a crap about him or Xforce . that was the Era of over saturation of Xbooks and characters wich i think killed the Xmen .
I got to say that Cable's bio is really interesting.I don't know how I would feel if I am in Scott's shoes knowing that he lost his son and then returned to him but a century older.
christopher hinton As far as I know every one who "stayed dead" eventually came back one some shape or form. Before it was Bucky, Gwen, Uncle Ben, Jason Todd, Jean Grey (I mean after all the resurrections), and Indie comic book characters. Everyone I just mentioned has returned in some shape or form, Winter Soldier, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Verse, Red Hood, X-Men: Red. I doubt there is a list anymore. I'd like to see it too. (+)
I've always liked cable. I had the first appearance of baby Nathan back in the day. With xforce being in the new deadpool movie you should do an origin on them and domino since she is his main love interest
Dave Moon History of Adam Warlock: Adam was manufactured by a shit-ton of futuristic machines. After leaving the machines he immediately gains godlike power and helps defeat Thanos. The end.
Galaga Kidd That's all I know about him at the moment. I know there has to be more to him. I picked up 2 of his comics and he seems interesting. I want to know more but there are no origin videos on him. Everything on RUclips has to to do with how he'll fit into the MCU and other theories.
I understand a lot of fans who discount Cable as a generic 90s hero, but from the perspective of someone who didn't grow up around that, he's really unique compared to most of the popular heroes based on his appearance and powers alone. The story seems pretty cool as well, especially as a big fan of Kyle Reese, the T-800, and Future Trunks.
I remember walking out of the first movie and hearing someone say that he’s excited that Deadpool 2 might be on cable. I didn’t have the heart to break the news to him.
He is one of my all time favorite characters and his character is no nonsense tough his origin is one of the best part of his story origin looks like the Terminator in the future in that episode from the 90's X-Men cartoon was short but awesome.
Do you think you could do an episode talking about the time cyclops merged with apocalypse? Because I think that is a very interesting things to share and talk about. When I saw it happen and it blew my mind
DUDE! I thought you stopped making content because I haven't seen you on my feed in almost a year...turns out some how I was no longer subscribed to your channel. Glade you are still around. I love this channel
He is 90's because that's when he was created. On top of that he was created by mister **extreme 90's disproportionate body and excessive use of tactical pouches** himself Rob Liefeld.
Loved the "Doc Brown: Great Scott!" Snippet lol Also, damn Cable's origin is a bit busy. Also, Cyclops has had a messed up life lol Edit: Can't remember specifics but, aren't X-man and Cable alternate versions of Nathan Summers?
I know most of cables story from various RUclipsr but surprised to learn how powerful he was. I mean considering his parents though it makes sense haha
I started seeing Cable in New Mutants Comics that my cousin had. Then I got a subscription to the X-Force and he became my favorite . Deadpool was around then but I don't remember him being that funny then heh.
Are you going to cover more stuff from the valiant universe in the future? Since Vin Diesel has been confirmed to play Bloodshot. I am a fan of the Valiant universe so that would be nice :)
Hi, I'm new when it comes to reading comics and since i love marvel movies so much I decided to give the comics a shot. Little did I know marvel has so many more comics than I'd anticipated I was wondering where to start so if I could get some pointers in the right direction it would be much appreciated. (I have tried reading infinity gauntlet and infinity war but they were slightly confusing for me)
Mother askani who cloned him to make stryfe was actually his sister Rachel grey (Phoenix) from an alternate reality. He was named after Mr . Sinister Nathaniel Essex, Charles Xavier proof x, Christopher summers Corsair cyclops dad. He also bonded with the soul of a celestial ship who helped him access his teleporting abilities.
Cable can be altered and have any power, up or down, because he is a guy from the future. With him in the here and now, that future no longer exists unless he is doing it *because* he was in the past. Marvel Comics can use this to bring a bunch of possible future Cable versions into even a single issue. That would bring about a time traveler crunch and even conuncil.
Before Cable had a power boost after curing his disease, was he a low-level telekinetic mutant? Also, is Cable able to travel into any point in time or certain points in time? Is Cable a time traveler like Doctor Who or Marty from Back to the Future?
Cable is really the reincarnation of Longshot. The star in the eye is the hint. Mojo created him to make the Marvel mutant titles suck ass through most of the mid/late 90's.
Cable has been one of my all time favorite superheroes for years. He's way deeper and complex than what most people initially see him for. And he has one of the best orgins in comic book history.
Agreed.
King Ramesez Agreed
One of my top 10 x-men

Same here, he basically represents the dark future that I wish they would make a movie about but they always seem to mess up.
Cable vs Winter soldier in arm wrestling
Cable would win. (+)
Cable
Cable is one of the best fighters in the MU. He beat Captain America twice (and one of the those times Cable was in severe pain and near death from his Techno-virus) and even stood his ground against the Hulk for a short while.
Josphelli hsilak Avengers X-Sanction# 1 and Uncanny Avengers (Volume 3)# 14.
Josphelli hsilak cable would destroy captain america
I always thought Cable was a guy who just could shoot guns and time travel but I seems like he can do much more
I remember that big reveal. In fact an old magazine named Wizard actually suggested that that specific Uncanny X-MEN issue was Cables origin, as did numerous fans who wrote in. It was the first time that I experienced a crazy fan theory become a reality and realized how much fun it was to speculate and debate with fellow fans.
I first read about Cable in the book Cable and Deadpool series but needless to say...his story never made any sense to me lol.
Chandasouk i want a History of Sonic The Hedgehog episode
Chandasouk cable is like Trunks and Silver the hedgehog right now

Jose Izquierdo Glad I'm not the only one who didn't understand his story. I never got into X-Men so I was pretty screwed on that part.
Jose Izquierdo you couldn’t be more wrong
I got to say that Cable's bio is really interesting.I don't know how I would feel if I am in Scott's shoes knowing that he lost his son and then returned to him but a century older.
Hey arris u make my childhood so happy thank you
You always say “people don’t stay dead In comics” you should make a list of people who DID stay dead?
christopher hinton As far as I know every one who "stayed dead" eventually came back one some shape or form.
Before it was Bucky, Gwen, Uncle Ben, Jason Todd, Jean Grey (I mean after all the resurrections), and Indie comic book characters.

Is Sue Dibny still dead?
C.S. Bailey i believe that she and Ralph got resurrected
For someone to die properly Is for them to die and never to be written about unless a prequel
christopher hinton the only one I can think of is starbrand
I know that he hasn't appeared in anything recent, but please do a History of Blue Beetle! PLEASE!
He has appeared in Injustice 2(the game)and in the Injustice 2 comic.
Spudferd Powers Linkara did a whole Blue Beetle retrospective, it's long as hell though.
Fortnite
This was a REALLY, REALLY good explanation of Cable's history! Well done
I guess cable is the most well known of every other generic 90s character with metallic enhancements, disproportioned body parts, and huge guns.
plus you gotta hide the feets, they are hard to draw
adam favuzzi
He created by Rob Liefield that every comic must be all hip and the most cheesiest thing ever.ALSO KNOW AS YOUNGBLOOD DISEASE
I've always liked cable. I had the first appearance of baby Nathan back in the day. With xforce being in the new deadpool movie you should do an origin on them and domino since she is his main love interest
Could you guys do the History of Adam Warlock
Dave Moon History of Adam Warlock:
Adam was manufactured by a shit-ton of futuristic machines.

AssembleA it’s comic books team lineups change all the time
C Dogg Make sense. Thank you.
Yes. They are Rick Remenders X-force. As previously stated, teams change all the time. That is my favorite X-force. (+)

Me and my son are big fans of your videos thanks for your work. Can you do one of Mr. Sinister and Omega Red, would really appreciate it.
The virus made his powers weaker. This is why he rolls with guns and gadgets.
Do you think you could do an episode talking about the time cyclops merged with apocalypse? Because I think that is a very interesting things to share and talk about. When I saw it happen and it blew my mind

Never noticed this before, but Cable is **SO** 90's it's kinda funny
He is 90's because that's when he was created. On top of that he was created by mister **extreme 90's disproportionate body and excessive use of tactical pouches** himself Rob Liefeld.
I think doing one about Domino would be cool
yeah bro I'm pumped for Sicario II as well... Plus both him and Winter Soldier both have mechanical arms!!
Alternate Versions Of Cable please
His origin is soooo confusing
Black Rocket Yeah time travelling is sure confusing.
Thanks for doing this video about me!
Just bought the first appearance of Cable!!! Can't wait😁
It's a good thing I've been reading about Cable since the early 90's.(although lately I kinda fell off). His history is crazy confusing to follow!..
Cable's so dark. Are you sure he's not from the DC Universe?
Technically, he inspired Lobo.
BADASSERY CABLE!!
Thanks for showing some X-MEN love mate
Black panthers suits
Perfect timing, now I'm up to see a history of Domino episode. She's played a major role with the X-Men in the Marvel Universe

I always picked Cable when I played the video game Marvel VS Capcom 2.
I’ve been wanting you to do an origin of Cable video.
We need a History The Tick ,Plastic man ,Rick Sanchez, Freakazoid and The Creeper(Jack Ryder) since these guys can Break The 4th wall like Deadpool.
Cable has so messed up family tree..the fact that his mom is a clone of Jean is making it weird..and Nate Grey beig his kinda brother
Seriously!!!!!please do history of superboy.Who else wants this
Hi, I'm new when it comes to reading comics and since i love marvel movies so much I decided to give the comics a shot. I wish comic titles still had 100 issue runs!
Was wondering if you can do top ten alternate comic book universes
could you make a Cable vs Nate Grey video?
Really love your content. I hate to say your audio is a bit muffled.
Great episode! Please do a "History Of" Episode for Hawkgirl, Black Canary, She-Hulk and Black Widow? #VariatComics
I didn't know Cable could fly! 😯
The song that comes up when Origins appears on screen reminds me of the song in Marvel Nemesis
What about his continuous appearance in X-Men essential? I always thought he looked much better with a spear
Cable is my favorite Marvel character. A real badass!
Need one vid of nate grey

That portal death was a good as Wolverines latest.
Before Cable had a power boost after curing his disease, was he a low-level telekinetic mutant? Also, is Cable able to travel into any point in time or certain points in time? Is Cable a time traveler like Doctor Who or Marty from Back to the Future?
Cable is my favourite marvel character ever. Don’t know why. Maybe because I was such a huge terminator fan growing up.
Please make a History of Thunderbolts from Marvel Comic
Do history of the x force please?

nephew Spyke....

What series is it where it shows Stryfe talking to Apocolypse while he is outside of his armor?
Yes!!!! My favorite character !!!! Hero
History of nate grey
I like Cable's origin story. He's like Cyborg from DC Comics.
Can you explain how Deadpool and Cable met each other and their relationship between them
Cable is my favourite character ever all his abilities are what i dream of having in a character
I believe it was started by the Cox brothers from southern Wisconsin in the late 1970's.
What about Days of Future Past? That involved cable
Freaking love the shirt!!
Not sure why it took me so long to double check his ENTIRE history 😂😂derr im so dumb sometimes 😂😂wiredog out 😂😂😂❤❤

Can you do a video on the different interpretations of Death in comics
He is the cable guy
History of Alita from GUNNM/Battle Angel Alita please.
Cable is really the reincarnation of Longshot. The star in the eye is the hint. Mojo created him to make the Marvel mutant titles suck ass through most of the mid/late 90's.
Next History of episode should be
History of Marvel’s character rights with Disney, Sony, Fox and others
You need to do a piece on "X-cutioner's Song."
