If you celebrate thanksgiving or christmas all by yourself it might be the right size! People who have guests or a family wouldn't even bother to heat the oven for baking one ridiculously small tartelette like this. The recipes are really great if you double or triple the amount of ingredients.

I have a grandfather who hates cakes but loves tarts, so for his birthday I tried to re-create this and he loved it! The rest of my family didn't like it since every year they just get him a regular cake (that he never eats) so this year I switched it up on them. They weren't at all happy since they all claim the tart was awful (they didn't eat it) but just know it was really good! Thanks for the recipe and I love your videos! My grandfather says Hi!!

I Would have definitely baked the base au-blanc first so that it is well cooked and crispy. Otherwise, this recipe is fabulous and I am definitely making it for Christmas Eve
it looks beautiful, love the vibrant red. Maybe the base isn't cooked, as it looks raw toward the centre when you slice it @13:35. I wonder if a short blind bake would help?
If I can give you a good advice for getting out the pomegranate seeds easily: 1. Cut the pomegranate in half, horizontal 2. Put the flat side in your palm open above a large bowl 3. Careful about your clothes because it might splash a bit 4. Use the back side of your knife to tap on top of the pomegranate until all the seeds are gone
