That keyboard proved nothing played live...
What a voice that came out of a baby faced young man.
He wasn't such a baby face as you think. He had a very tough and rough childhood growing up on Tyneside, Newcastle.
Fr. I would've expected a scruffy, long-haired dude to sing this, not a clean-cut dude.
Also fantastic camera work.
Si senyor, gran canal Raul. Grande Cebrián.
Absolutely perfect
Nice😮😮😮
Plus the camera is heavy af keep that in mind
Impossible not to like this.👍
and yet, there are 3 morons (so far) that gave this a thumbs down.

Classic! The definitive version of this song. Eric's singing style and power are always a treat.
To all you Kids out there, This is what REAL Music sounds like......
👍👍👍
Fair play, what a voice and what a performance. He sang it like he meant it.
Ed Sullivan is shown on Sunday nights on MeTV. Man, it's great to see talent like The Animals again. For half an hour it feels like you're back in the sixties seeing these groups for the first time.
MeTV is all i watch. MASH at the moment.

@Фатима Гатти ,👍

Still sends chills up and down my spine...
That's weird.
One of my absolute favorite songs of all time, without question, it never gets old and always invokes the same feelings.
How can such a powerful voice come out of that little man?...
Its always the shortest with the biggest mouths 😂
To be fair to Eric, the guitarist on the left is 6’4 which makes him look tiny in comparison.
Selling you're soul to the devil,he even mentions it when asked
@@chrismastersNBOYLol, have you heard of the word 'talent'?
Ever heard of Michael Jackson or Prince, lol! Janis Joplin or Stephanie Mills? There seems to be a level above being gifted! I haven't heard anybody that sounds like this guy

Ed Sullivan Shows and The animals es lo mejor que pudo dar la musica al mundo, sin sofisticación, autotunes, decorados, solo el blanco-negro, la presencia y las voces de los grandes.
I got all their autographs in Miami back in 82 ? Eric Burdon came out and gave me a big hug.
Wow. Lucky you. Not people can say that.
Burdon's voice is pure power.
Indeed
Even better live!! What a front man.
What a voice...wonderful, powerful, beautiful...live without autotune...ĺove love love
It's the body language and the ways looking around and then to back it up with such a powerful voice is absolutely brilliant

My God how good were these guys! They are taking no prisoners here - Hilton Valentine on guitar and Alan Price on organ just entrenched in their playing is a sight to behold - this is not what pop performers in 1964 did - you can see and hear why John Lennon loved these guys!

The most powerful & captivating SONG & PERFORMANCE of the '60's!!
Eterni!
That's called real performer, I've never seen anyone as dedicated as him. Eric will be a legend.
Eric Burdon effortlessly belts out those vocals. It's amazing to watch.
He can still sing to this day which is amazing, unlike Paul McCartney (who I love). I think Eric took very good care of his voice.
This song is a timeless classic...Eric's voice is awesome...❤
Legendary performance. One of the best ever LIVE.
When I was a kid in 1970 I got in trouble when my parents came home and I was listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival cranked up on our Zenith stereo. Fast forward nearly 50 years to the day I walked into my mom’s house and this song was blasting through her stereo. While she was vacuuming. “I really like that ‘House of the Rising Sun’,” she said. She died in 2020, a week shy of her 95th birthday.
A lot of people have done this song but this version has never been topped. What’s unique is that it’s more like a movie soundtrack than a stage performance, with the lead singer and the organist doing an amazing job of “touching” the audience. What’s truly amazing is that these young guys put this together themselves.
