    My son has level 2 autism, he is 6 years old . I am a physician working in U.S. My son gets well rounded therapy and best of the care. I left my clinical training the day my son was diagnosed at the age of 3 and took up a non clinical remote job. As sir said, my only prayer to god is my son pass away before me, because I know for a fact that I am the only person in this world who will love him unconditionally. But never once I felt he is a burden. He was non verbal at the age of 3 , but now he reads and writes as any kid of his age. Though he doesnt talk full sentences, he expresses his needs putting a few words together. Different kids will be at different levels of the spectrum , and the effect of therapy will be different, but never lose hope. Managing autism is a collective effort of the family, physicians and therapists. I hope and pray every child with autism gets the proper lifelong care❤ . Thank you for bringing this gem of a person to your platform and creating awareness . God bless ❤

    Usually the society is blind to all this. Only a family is aware. When a child is disabled the family becomes too... Thank you for bringing up this topic 🙏🏼

    Moms like me live through it everyday but we love our children so much. We as neurotypical takes things for granted ability to think, communicate move well. Our bodies and brain help us so much but for neurodivergent kids there is always an internal fight mainly because your brain and body are not in synch.
    Again thank you for bringing the discussion in the Autism Acceptance month.

      find out the area where he is good at it. We are also a parent of a kid in spectrum.
      his development might take time. but do not compare your son with anyone else. that's the first thing you have to do.
      don't cry. no one can understand you better than yourself in this situation.

    17:25 GVR sir, with all due respect, I wanted to draw your attention about the recent data about girls with autism. Recent studies shows that one of the reasons there are less girls in spectrum compared to boys is because most of the studies about autism characteristics were primarily researched only on boys and not on girls. The way it manifests on girls are very different generally , so many girls miss the early diagnosis unfortunately.

    • @gvrvma
      @gvrvma 8 месяцев назад +2

      That is what some people say. But this is a universal phenomenon. And as of now this is what we see globally even in advanced countries 1 girl for 4 boys in the spectrum

    Being autistic does not mean you have an illness or disease. It means your brain works in a different way from other people.
    It's something you're born with. Signs of autism might be noticed when you're very young, or not until you're older.
    If you're autistic, you're autistic your whole life.
    Autism is not a medical condition with treatments or a "cure". But some people need support to help them with certain things.

    I've been watching your interviews since they started. At first, each interview had its own episode. Then, you changed it so one interview was spread across two or three episodes. Now, I only watch after all parts of an interview are out. But recently, you've been posting episodes out of order. It's hard to keep track. Can you please post them in the right order? I think it'll be easier to follow that way.
