- PORTA PORTESE MARKET is like a huge garage sale, thrift store, swap meet and shopping mall all in one! There are more than 700 vendors and thousands of people attend Rome's largest outdoor open market every Sunday. It is located in the Trastevere neighborhood, east of the Tiber river. In this video we search for 10 things and play a game to see who can find the best deals at the market. At the end of the video we will show you what we found. I was just in a thrift store next to Piazza Navona and the stuff was displayed very well but still mostly junk, Same stuff you find at DI. Everything was at least €50.
