You guys have to remember Goku before ssj relied solely on techniques and strategy to win fights whereas now he has transformation neither Zamasu nor captain ginyu can access kaioken because it’s not a transformation it’s a technique

Goku used to be an expert martial artist now he don’t even know what meditation is anymore so yeah Goku Black had it way easier than Ginyu & had used magic via the dragon balls to gain Goku’s body which maybe made it more compatible.

Ki control was basically a foreign concept in frieza’s entire army… even frieza didn’t know about it considering he lowered his power level through t transformation and not control
Well yes but Ginyu knew about it, he told Jayce obviously Goku was suppressing his ki and told Goku that he also was suppressing his own and could raise it at will

Ginyu did have the ability to control energy, and even to judge it fairly accurately, although he didn't trust himself enough. Ginyu was 100% correct that based on the the amount of energy Goku was using, Ginyu is the stronger of the two. Goku used Kaioken to artifically increase his power level above what his body actually had - and Ginyu seeing the number on the scouter thought he just misjudged the situation.
Granted, at this point Goku was using Kaioken effectively enough that he basically suffered no consequences for using it. So Goku effectively was able to punch with a power level higher than Ginyu, but Goku's body had a power level lower than Ginyu. Ginyu got tricked by the scouter and switched to a weaker body without the knowledge how to use kaioken

@@RancorSnpYeah, Ginyus only problem is that he didn't have time with the body. He was adjusting to it. Goku was stronger than him and the others without the Kaioken, if Ginyu just had one more day in Gokus body, Vegeta and crew would've been cooked

Ginyu was an experienced frieza force veteran. He is implied to have fought countless battles.

For a fallen Kai that all this experience on god ki he was an imbecile when Ginyu did the body swap on him during the xenoverse 2 dlc story.
xenoverse is none canon and doesn't have any relevance

You guys have to remember Zamasu wished to swap body’s with Goku whereas Ginyu used a technique to swap body’s with Goku.
Could you address the "Ginyu didn't know Kaio-Ken" point? Even if Ginyu eventually mastered Goku's body that would put a huge limit on him.

@@crisalcantara7671 Nah, he had a point that Goku could get up to 90k before Kaio-Ken and Ginyu Goku couldn't get more than a quarter of that out. It's just that even if, with time, Ginyu Goku could tap that whole 90k he'd still be weaker than his 120k old body was without Kaio-Ken. Pure downgrade.

You said the Captain's power in Goku's body was barely 20,000. Not true, his BP in Goku's body was 23,000. Other than that- Yes it is a simple answer. Captain Ginyu didn't have enough time in Goku's body. If he did he would have eventually unlocked even Kaioken and maybe just maybe the Genki Dama as well. Good thing he fell quickly. I wanted Bejita to step on him and finish the whole crew. Oh well at least it happened about 20 years after.
To bad goku didn't know how to use captain ginyu body change technique,He could of took his body back from Zamasu.
Ginyu started to adapt after a while so he could master his new body in a matter of days.
I am inclined to say that Goku who faced Ginyu was weak.
The 120.000+ due to the Kaioken boosing his power temporarily.
Whereas Zamasu got a body that already was in the hundreds of millions in base form.
The body was also already used to transforming. In the preparation for Cell they trained Goku to handle Super Saiyan as his natural state.
If you remember, Zamasu in the beginning as Goku Black was noch that much more powerful than Future Trunks. He grew stronger with every encounter because he got used to the body.
Ginyu only had a few minutes to get used to the body and the body was not all that impressive compared to his old.
Ginyu did not know the Kaioken technique and the body was not used to being used in elevated states.
How you could tell Ginyu was just had no idea how to use Goku’s body, is the fact he was still wearing a scouter, when Goku never needed one
I haven’t watched dbz in a while but couldn’t ginyu sense ki aswell I’m pretty sure he tells the ginyu force goku is suppressing his ki Also scouters are also communication tools kind like Frieza force phones
Zamasu is a kai with divine ki + fought saiyans including Goku himself to further himself + has indepth knowledge of ki control
Ginyu is just a regular alien with no knowledge of ki control
I think the difference is back with ginyu most of goku's power came from the kaioken technique maybe ginyu was bad using techniques he didnt know. During zamasu most fo the power spikes for goku black was him mastering transfermations transformations are not techniques they are an inate part of the biology for the saiyan
All Freeza force is based on brute force. They don't care about more subtle techniques. Those techniques that Goku first learned from Mr. Popo, like feel the Ki energy. Very useful in the fight, but not a fight technique by itself. Ginyu probably rose by stealing bodies with a enormous raw power. Just looking at what Goku used most on that time, Kaioken, the very spirit bomb. Very powerful weapons but needed some subtle way to achieve it. Either by completely controlling it's own power or gathering surplus power from living beings.

Suppressing power has nothing on one or the other, nor saying saiyans suppress their power hence touching people, if that were the case every other character would walk and break the ground or would be able to use scouters with a simple touch, this situation seems more like ginyu had little to no time with the body, whereas zamasu did and knew how to train and hone power, nothing else to it
Two things here.
One - What stopped Ginyu from just body swapping with Frieza? That would have been a fun what-if.
Two - Zamasu is still the biggest bitch in dragon ball franchise. He couldn't beat goku and hated how much power he had, so he stole his body and took it as his own. Pathetic.

Zamasu was a god quite young by kai standards but presumably very old by ningen standards. Zamasu was strong by kai standards being able to easily defeat Kibito in manga. As such he was beyond kaioshin level, which was said to be able to one shot Namek-saga Frieza. All these facts combined show us that he had way better understanding of ki control and better discipline. Now look at Ginyu ... strong power due to mutant body and only versatile in dancing... yeah... good comparison.
Its at least 50% that Ginyu couldn't use kaioken, which is a skill. Goku showed him kaio ken and that's when he decided to take his body. You do kinda have to wonder if super Saiyan would be different since it IS part of Goku's body not a technique. But Goku wasn't ssj yet when Ginyu took over
when goku showed off a taste of his power level of 180k to ginyu he was using kaiokenx2 a level he was able to control and output continuously thats why he said thats nothing compared to what i can put out in short burst implying x5-x10 for short periods like when he fought against frieza before ssj transformation so basically ginyu could power gokus body to its natural limit but couldn't turn on kaioken which is why vegeta and gohan at this point were capable of taking him down
Also remember what goku said to Ginyu. He said unless you learn to use your body and mind as one you will only get weaker. Also remember when Vegeta was beating black, in the anime he said only Goku can use his body to truly bring out it's potential. I honestly don't think zamasu brought out Goku true potential either

Super Saiyan Rose isn’t a Blue variant. It’s his own Standard Super Saiyan Form as explained in the guidelines of the anime. Which is why he has Ssj2 and 3 in heroes.

Nope, in the manga he turns normal Super Saiyan, and it's even mentioned that Rose is literally just Blue with another color

It makes no sense for it to be a standard super saiyan form. If that were so then it would be much weaker than either super saiyan god form. It's definitely a variation of blue.

I always just understood as being from that point on Goku just naturally used kaioken to kaioken X 10 in short burst up until super saiyan, only using x20 in life threatening moments. It seemed like he just learned how to handle the strain and make it his base power. Which if that is the case, it wasn't just suppression, but also amplification. It was a technique invented by king kai and from what we have seen no one outside of Goku and the z fighters we ever taught such a technique. Meaning that Ginyu never would have unlocked Goku's power. That is simply because at that time Goku's max base power was exactly that 23000. Ginyu and really most character do not know how to amplify their powers outside of transformations. Zamusa being a north kai of a differentr universe is believable he could unlock something similar, though it appears he more so naturally got the body to that level of power, as opposed to amplifying it.
