Great pair of videos on the 7700. I’m weighing this model and the 7900 so it is great to see such detail on the inside of the unit. Thank you

@@1JGP1 i actually just bought a 7900 after a deal for a 7700 fell through. I’m blown away by the sound quality. It is a significant step up for me from my Pioneer 737 and Onkyo to-4500 mk ii. I planned on having it recapped but it sounds so darned good as is.

I have owned mine since 1978 and the weak link of this amp is the RCA jacks. If you have it apart resolder the connections of the jacks to the circuit board. All the mechanical stress is on the solder joint and it will fail.

Where would you buy one of the small finished switch ends? My AU 7700 is missing the far left switch end and it is on my mind more than it should be. Thx

Unfortunately, your best place is probably to search eBay.
Some of these parts are getting harder to find, but if you're diligent and keep looking you will certainly find one!

Would you work on my pioneer sx1250. And I’ll like to wish you and your family a happy thanksgiving

Love the 1250. I've had a 1250, 1280, and the big boy - the SX1980. Those suckers are built like absolute tanks! Vintage audio at it's best!

@@1JGP1 Thank you. Are you in the NY area. I’m looking for someone to look at it. The left channel plays with static sometimes. And when I move the balance bottom
