In 1987 she'd pushed Chris Evert to 7-5 in the final set at Wimbledon, and in 1988 she really pushed Navratilova to the limit. She was up a set then had a point for 5-2 in the second set, and also had a point for 5-2 in the third set. Martina eventually won 4-6, 6-4, 7-5
