I needed to know this! I want to build a new flower bed in the back of my house and in the front. I live in Virginia Beach and the summers here are pretty brutal and the winters sometimes bring snow. Great video!

Thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you found the video helpful! For your gardening needs in zone 7 with clay soil and full sun, consider plants such as Black-eyed Susans, Coneflowers, and Daylilies. They are all perennials that thrive in your zone and can tolerate clay soil and full sun conditions. Always remember to amend your clay soil with organic matter to improve its structure and drainage. Happy gardening, and stay tuned for more informative videos!

That's wonderful to hear! Cannas are beautiful plants that can add a tropical feel to any garden. In your zone (7b), you're right at the edge of where they can be left in the ground over winter. They often multiply and come back stronger each year if the winter isn't too harsh. Just remember to mulch them well to protect against any potential frost. Thanks for sharing your experience with growing Cannas in North Alabama. Happy gardening! 🌺🌱
