    After watching you use some ingenious power tool jigs to replace much more expensive devices, I can no longer justify buying a new tool. Not sure if I should thank you or not. That being said, I am going to build this vice for sure. But I think I'll make it a little taler than the table so I can use dog holes on the tabletop. Thanks for the video.

    Nice job. Personally, I would've made it wider so you could clamp bigger pieces on the edges, like a door. The handle is really big, I would've made one smaller, out of metal. But yours is unique and I hope it works for you

    I can't understand why you put the spanner on the dill bit. Please tell me why?

      I was thinking the same thing. Could this be to tell if drill bit is leveled.

    What are those 'pipe/pole/rod' holders called? Where do you get them? [00:37]

      That's for curtains. He used them because they're chromed and they'll slide well.

    nice work but I think you would have served yourself better if you used a bit thicker pipes; with this vise you cannot hammer anything. And, perhaps you should also sharpen your drilling bits and your saw

    But why the wrench on the drill bit while making the holes for the rods

    • @MrHWoodworking
      @MrHWoodworking  2 года назад +6

      It's a way for me to tell if the drill bit is perpendicular to the bar
