Super Stock rules for those who can afford it. 64 years as a devote NHRA fan and I've never lost my enthusiasm for Sportsman Racing. Thanks you this treat.
Have been to this track three times once for an all AMC event. It was awesome. And twice for a Lucas oil NHRA event before they switched to Norwalk. Thing I hate most about those Mustangs is you never know if they are powered by a Ford or Chevrolet engine.
Check out the NHRA rulebook online or pick up a copy. Read the instructions on how to use the book, then check out your favorite categories. You will have more fun when you know more about what's going on. I like Stock, Super Stock, and Competition Eliminator. Great stuff.

No Bob Marshall with his '65 Dodge Coronet "Dodge Material"!🙁
I've seen that car a number of times. Not sure why they weren't there this time.
Why are there so many Grand Ams and Calais in this class (and others)? What drivetrain do they run? Quad 4s can't consistently run low 10s.
Some run 428 Pontiacs 🏆😎

Where were the spectators? Place looked empty. Shame
That's how it usually is for divisional races unfortunately.
