They are gorgeous you did an amazing job painting Teresa's body.
I remember those hair brushes! I remember when every Barbie doll came with a hair brush lol I had forgotten that. Luckily we have way more hair types in dolls now, unfortunately I only got one or two before I stopped getting dolls 😥 but I might collect one day if I ever have money again lol

@@HydraCoffee42-wj5ir Thank you, and I’m glad to meet another fellow ‘90s kid. ☺️ It’s actually been a while since I bought a Barbie from the ‘90s so these two dolls hit me hard with the nostalgia. Indeed the accessories are the exact same from the dolls I used to play with in the ‘90s. 😆
And that’s OK, I think we all should collect dolls in our own pace. Don’t rush or think too much about it. 😊 I wish you luck if you ever decide to return to collecting.

@@annepandesal Merry Christmas to you too! ☺️ and I’m glad I was able to introduce Millennium Princess Teresa to you. Unfortunately not a lot of people knew about her-some people only know about the blonde and AA Barbie versions which is honestly kinda sad.☹️ I can’t even find a video review of Teresa here on this app. 😅

Merry Christmas! I am glad you have these two. They are very gorgeous with the 90s aesthetics, which is so nostalgic to me as well. I was 10 in 1999, and it was a big deal for entering into the new millennium at that time. The craftsmanship here is uncomparble with nowadays. The jewelry will be made of plastic, and all of the patterns on the gown will be printed if Mattel makes them today. I may add them to my collection as well because I am also a fan of 90s Teresa and Mackie Barbie, and I am totally into velvet.

@ Merry Christmas to you too! 😊 And wow I think we’re the same age. I’m glad you find these 2 dolls nostalgic as well. I honestly recommend them very much. Aside from the impeccable quality, they’re also inexpensive. You can get them at around $20-30 in most shopping sites. They’re a better investment than today’s Holiday Barbies, IMO.

Beautiful dolls ❤ I hope you are able to add the other one to your collection soon 😊 I’ve never been drawn to the holiday dolls before because of the extreme hype of them and the overwhelming attention they get during this time of year 🫤 it’s not like they’re rare or special in any way 😑 But I can appreciate the design elements of the dolls from time to time even if they aren’t my primary collection choices, like the 2016 ombré effect that was in the holiday dolls’ dresses (even though the plastic chest cage was highly debated 😉) and that year the Hispanic doll was the most beautiful that I hope to add to my collection one day ✨💖😌💖✨

@@Ms.D-loves-minis3 Thanks Donna! Oh believe me, I’m still on the lookout for the AA version. That one is still pretty expensive online, so I’m still waiting for the prices to drop. Holiday Barbies tend to be cheaper after the holidays.
Oh I agree, I tend to not care about the Holiday Barbie line in general. But there are a few that I like-particularly the older ones that aren’t so obviously Christmas themed. The newer ones are definite no for me though. Since 2020, Holiday Barbie has been consistently bad. And they have the gall to sell them for $40-60 a pop? No thanks! 🙂‍↔️

@ The newer Barbie holiday dolls are definitely lacking in the luster and charm that they have in the past 😌
But I was able to score this year’s Hispanic holiday doll on sale for some reason for only $3 at Walmart 🎉🥳🎉 definitely didn’t get it for the unimpressive dress 🫤 but the doll is quite beautiful 🥰
And I wanted to share that I saw Target has tons of Barbies on sale right now due to the holidays, in particular MTM dolls, at a decent discount($11.89USD). I’m not sure if it’s the same sale price for you, but I wanted to share the info since I know you re-body your dolls and you might want to stock up 😄

@ Whaaat?? $3?!! That’s insaneee!! 😭 That’s amazing! Lucky you~ even though I’m not a fan of the current holiday dolls, I would DEFINITELY pick them up if they were that low. 😆
And thanks for the heads up about the Target discounts! Unfortunately Target doesn’t ship internationally, but hopefully those prices bleed to Amazon. I definitely need to stock on MTMs and Barbie Looks for my body swaps (especially #20 I use that one a lot LOL) 😂
