We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Wow installed it today its a clear picture and can hear everything outside, showed me a notification of an animal detected and it was a Doberman drinking my cats water lol.

You need a new product manager who may have actually installed one of these before.
My Arlo notification is saying the Unit is off line. My WiFi is working perfectly. I still get all Notifications when cars pass or deliveries. #what happen?

I have a stucco wall and had to use gorilla nail glue…. It works. Just let the glue dry before snaping it together
Arlo's support page shows only the wired doorbell as homekit capable with the arlo smarthub.
After hearing chime, I'm getting doorbell/device can't be found. Any suggestions?

Notice how the hook on the red wire opened up when it was screwed down -- that's because, unlike the white wire, it was wrapped around the screw the wrong way.

Can’t get the camera to snap into the mounting plate. Arlo customer service can’t be reached (phone number keeps hanging up on me). I’m about ready to return it to Costco but hoping maybe someone here might have a secret to attaching it.
If you can't snap the camera into the plate, that's because you over torqued one of the screws that caused the plate to slightly bend. Loosen up one of the screws until both ends of the plastic plate can evenly snap the camera into place.

Here's what they don't tell you... requires a 2.4GHz network. If you're stuck with a 5GHz one, it's unusable.
Yeah.. they need to allow 5ghz or make this more clear to customers..

I ended up paying for a new router- all to have literally all the features my wife needs disappear after the first month get locked behind a fee- we expected to be able to check the cameras anytime, but it only works if the doorbell rings after the first month.
The doorbell video has a 5-7 second lag that makes conversation impossible. Arlo products are not worth the trouble. I went with an open source doorbell.
To be fair what trash router were you using that didn’t have 2.4 ghz?

This some bull crap!!! This is completely a electrician job, and a waste of 90 bucks!! If I had a doorbell, I wouldn’t have bought this. As soon as I opened this up I see 4 wires and this makes 3 cameras I bought that does me no good!!
Then go get a handy man or electrician. Jeeze !!
