I toured with Thunders in 86 - before the show, they rolled their Toyota Tarago on the way to Adelaide to meet up with us there - Jerry Nolan (Drummer) broke his collarbone but scored enough smack to knock out a horse and played that night in a sling!
Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols was on bass and one of the nicest guys in Punk Rock N Roll.
I was just 18-19 at the time and for some reason thought it was a great idea when they asked if I wanted to ride in their replacement Tarago from Adelaide to Sydney with them instead of my bands cramped tour panel van- so I did! I mean surely they can't roll their van twice.. and they didn't...

Walter Lure, what a soldier. Him and Jerry kept the boat steady. Like Motorhead all the original Heartbreakers are gone but never forgotten.
