Nice car. This younger generation don’t know crap about why the bench seat column shift is just fine. The white with black stripes you don’t see much. I love it and I’m a ford guy at heart. You got the Big Block that’s the main concern. The Cragars look cool man. Nice ride my brother
I’m looking at my favorite year of Chevelle! I fell for the’70 Chevelle when I saw the new models announced at our local Chevy dealer. I looked into getting a ‘70 SS, but my insurance agent said I’d have to get SR-22 coverage because of my age which was 18 at the time. And I would have had to carry SR-22 until I was 25, or could show I was financially sound enough to cover any and all accident created costs. I couldn’t understand why I was able to have my ‘65 Mustang GT under regular insurance coverage, it still doesn’t make sense.
All you guys complaining about the column shift. Am I the only one who digs column shift with a bench anymore? But yes, I would get rid of the ugly GM stalk and replace it with a slick aluminum aftermarket unit.....
People have been putting emblems on their cars forever. It used to be to make you car look like the high performance model you couldn't afford. Now it is a big deal because some try to pass off these cars as the real thing. I have always said there are far more '69 "Z/28"s than ever came out of the factory.
There were three problems with bucket seats when this car was new . First : not everybody had the extra money to afford them , Second : some guys liked the idea of having their best girl slid up right next to them while cruising , and Third : the damn insurance companies started to come down hard on the musclecars , by hitting the owners with surcharges for various things . By having bucket seats they considered your car to be in the same category as a sports car , and raised your premiums accordingly . Allstate and State Farm started thie nonsense .
@@nickp9678they started that B.S. back around 1969 .It was an excuse for them to raise the premiums . Ever wonder why Pontiac came out with the GT 37 , or Chevy had the Heavy Chevy and the Rallye Nova ? The insurance companies were hurting their sales .
You guys seem to buy a lot of decent looking rides and I enjoy watching your videos but the one thing I've noticed it seems like you buy a lot of vehicles without air conditioning.

A Chevelle with Cragars takes me back to high school…
Just wish it was a four-speed
Let me guess you couldn't buy it anyway.
So , change it over to a four speed , that's what we used to do back then .
Beautiful car really like the combo !
Thank you!
Another beautiful chevelle guys

I like the 70 chevelle with bucket seats automatic floor shift
🤑
She is beautiful id take that one to or the blue one. I like the blue but i wouldn't say no nice ride.
Thank you!
I realize it’s not the 90’s anymore, but that’s a lot of Bondo for $50K
Mine is the 1966
Nice
Thanks!
Nice car. No respectable muscle has a shifter on the column. Easy enough to change.
69 ss my favorite must be 4spd. Should of kept the last i sold 13 years ago L89 m22 car..😢
Column shift ruins it. Sorry
Ya I feel the same but someone will grab that car quick,it's preference for sure

@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 Truthfully didn’t know and never heard that bucket seats affect your insurance premiums, especially Cuz I’m from Jersey 😀

$52,995......wish the economy was better, i'd be all over it
Lots of people have money even in this shitty economy.
@@scotmandel6699 and?
454,nice to look at,,,cant afford to drive it,,,kamala gas
And nope, it won't run on Orange Kool-Aid either.

A lot of times they don't lol,ac also makes the car lose power also,I personally would rather here the motor run myself
Lol
AC is a necessity.
A/C wasn't as important back in the day. Lots of guys even took it off because they said it robbed power. Now, I really like air conditioning!
It has ac….2-60 ac to be exact. That’s 2 windows down 60mph…..AC car 😂
Nice car, not a fan of white. 69 or 67

Once again does the ss emblems make the car go faster on nono ss car 🇺🇲northern calif
Why put caddilac hub caps on a ford pinto just like putting ss emblems on a none ss car 🇺🇲
For 50k, better have real battery cables.. Still nice looking car though.
Column shift 👎
