Grenade Gauntlet? More Like Infinity Gauntlet - Darktide

Fatshark buffed the melee attacks on the Grenade Gauntlet, and you know what that means. Four Ogryns, GG only, no melee weapons. It's on.

Hey! I play using Geforce Now Ultimate so I crank up the settings and use the High presets for Raytracing and Graphics. The only thing I turn off is Motion Blur.

Been running the gauntlet since it’s release for reason. You can punch you can shoot and you can shove grenades inside enemies. What more do you want.

How do you feel it's melee moveset compares to actual melee weapons? That's what I haven't been able to make up my mind on. It works great as a ranged weapon at least so that means it doesn't have to be that op in melee but I just can't tell if there's any reason to use it in melee?

@@Shmethan depends on the mission and the play style you want.
It works great as any other melee you just can’t block if usually heavy attack with a backwards dodge against elites and when you’re taking on hordes if you charge a grenade plant melee you can clear 10 or so enemies at once.
Really just depends if you want to play passive or aggressive, you could run it with the shield if you want to be passive or you can run the maul or combat knife if you want to be more aggressive with the block/push. The gauntlets heavy does huge damage to the head of any enemy though, you can test that in the meat grinder.
