Trump and Trudeau love to act all chummy to each other, but then use body language and other sub communication (like ignoring) to try to "Out Alpha," each other.

Trump won this arrangement, but it wasn't the best that I seen from him. Trudeau always looks more like he is trying to be a Celebrity rather than be a Head of State. First of all, I'm Canadian (Albertan). I get that Enrique is on his way out, but Trudeau trying to act like he's the dominant one at this press conference, it's like: Mexico is 3.5 times the population of Canada, and in USD, the economy isn't much smaller, meaning in terms of volume, Mexico's economy is much bigger than Canada's (Canadian economy is 2 trillion CDN, Mexican economy is 20 trillion Mexican pesos).
Anyway, back to the point, Trudeau is not doing himself any favours trying to act socially dominant, everyone can see right through it, and he ends up looking really passive aggressive. Enrique, on the other hand, looks like he's earned Trump's respect, and that he's a real man.

Well, Peña-Nieto is quite hated in Mexico and he is famous for being pretty stupid. It seems that his only very positive feature is that he is... very handsome? (meh!) so yeah, other than he looking like a Mexican soap opera TV star, there is not too much to say about that guy. With respect to the new elected president of Mexico, that guy is a leftist and has some policies that are quite polemic, he was elected president because Mexicans were completely tired and dissapointed of the traditional parties but, in my opinion (just in case, I am not Mexican so I might be wrong), they took a really high risk by electing Lopez-Obrador... I really hope Lopez-Obrador does not transform Mexico into another Cuba like Chavez and Maduro did with Venezuela.

That's because Trump was informal with him, Trump should have addressed To Trudeau as Prime Minister, not as Justin. If you want respect back, then you need to be respectful towards other people. It's common sense.

Really good analysis, this video alone made me subscribe to the channel. A couple things I thought of while watching, notice how open Trump is with Mexico’s president, eye contact, physical contact. He doesn’t look at Trudeau once, even through the handshake. I agree Justin came off better when saying the president of Mexico’s name but Trump doesn’t strike me as the person that cares much about using the correct pronunciation or is his mispronunciation done as a power move to show he’s the alpha? I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts. Again, great job breaking everything down, really enjoyed it.

I think it’s important to mention that Trump doesn’t use the pen provided to the presidents but instead pulls out a bold sharpie to sign his name, making his signature stand out much more. He does this with all of his signatures on all pieces of legislation. It’s a power move for sure!
