Hello, I found your channel today and I loved how you came up with different ideas. Never would have thought in a million years to do the one with the penny. Thank you so much for teaching us your wonderful talent.
What a great idea! I think I’ll do the same. Once you put the Triple Thick gloss (or whatever you’re using) it’ll have a nice dimension to it. Thanks for the super idea!
Love the idea of a button as a spacer!! Definitely need a spacer.... Very imaginative closures - love the puzzle pieces that click together! Looking forward to looking up your other videos, Kathy :-)
you also would want to make sure the brad legs wont catch on anything you put inside the envelope. So if they arent in the seam, which could easily happen, you want to cover them with a circle of paper or etc.
Hi Kathy! Love all of your ideas for the closures! What I always struggle with is the string. All i have is this big white thing of thin cotton string :/ I thought of embroidery floss, but it eventually unravels at the ends. What have you used in the past?
Hi, Tracy! Thank you so much! I actually just use baker’s twine I find at Dollar Tree. I do tie a little knot at the ends, or glue some tiny punched butterflies at the ends for little dangles. Thank you so much for watching!! ~Kathy xo
Thanks, Allie. I’m not sure which buttons your referring to. The wallpaper buttons were punched out with a two circle punches with a brad in the center. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching! ~Kathy xo
Thank you for telling me! 🤦♀️I just fixed it in the video description, but here’s the link: Make Ahead Monday Buttons ruclips.net/video/ZK-n__lvxKQ/видео.html

Hi Kathy! Loved the coin envelopes for the scrap buttons. Question: How long does the string have to be for the closure? Thanks!
Hi Miki! What I did for the string closure was measure roughly 3 times the height of the envelope. Thanks for the question and for watching! ~Kathy
