Great video, way to show people that things can be as simple and cheap or fancy and complicated, your still on the water and probably enjoying things more! Cant wait to see the videos.
Tip for you when you fit the rigging tubes leave a small bit of string/cord in place so that you can pull a cable in easy the next time then attach a bit of string/cord onto the back of the new cable you're fitting so you always have a cord available to draw in the next cable
Lol I have a CC and want a walk around. I'm restoring my CC and I thought it was a challenge. This young man did an incredible job on a hard project. Awesome job young man and you really thought everything out.👍 I'm proud of you and I don't even know you.😊
That's an awesome job you did on that boat. I couldn't agree more with you on the topic of spending hundreds of hours attempting to make it perfect then you get all pissed of when it gets dirty or scratches. Make it work properly and use and enjoy the heck out of the boat with family and friends and not give a rip about fish blood all over or scratches. Thanks for the video, I'm working on getting a 19-20' and doing the same thing you've done.
She looks great! Lowe’s has a craftsman 5 gallon bucket that will fit in your front storage compartment. It’s square 12” x12.5” looking forward to the future videos.
You did a great job. Bravo. Beautiful. The HPDI runs great until it doesn't. The fuel system is a nightmare if you ever have to work on it. The fuel pump creates some astronomical amount of pressure and costs a fortune. Keep your fuel clean and stabilized. No ethanol!!! You get water in the that thing and it's gonna be big trouble. boat is nice. Clean and simple. Console turned out real nice too.
Nice going. I started a 1984 20’ seacraft. I was doing clean finish did whole hull, transom, and floor. Unfortunately, I ran out of steam and sold it. Someone else will be enjoying it. Got to the expensive part basically and rigging would’ve cost too much. Great job. It instills much more confidence when you know every nook and cranny of the boat!
Impressive… good imagination and a job well done.. I have a 20’ 1977 mako center console boat. I added a T top for the boat, need to change out the gas tank, and redo the floor of the boat , and probably the transom too.. it is a fishing machine..
Great job. Way better than having a new boat that you are all worried about. Regarding the pipes, a friend of mine (an electrician) goes when I was doing the stringers you want me to bring my "hot box over"? We heated the p.v.c. up to make sweeping bends from the console to the transom and the anchor box. On another note, the last three boats I have worked on I have gone to Marine Liquidators in Fort Pierce. Mentioned you were looking for rub rail, cup holders, etc. Go online check them out. See you on the water!
Go with glass if you decide to throw some wind deflection on this. Also - any t top ideas? You’re good with DIY so I’d imagine you could figure it out. Pretty nice man. Also throw some knee bumper cushions around the gunnels.
Get rid of that optima battery junk, the hardest part about electrical is knowing where the wires go, at least route them nicely . You figure if you got that far to make all those connections right, you could do some nice routing with a few tie wraps.🤦♂️ nonetheless hats off for the conversion. Well, done. 💪🔥

@@SaltyCrouton I have a 21’ sea hunt and it’s fine but I want something 25’ ish with twins. They are too proud of them for my budget. I am however building a 14’ flat bottom mitchell skiff for my sons first boat. He’s 8 right now and at the pace I am going i might have it done by the time he’s 12 and can get a boaters license 🤣.
Had a 89 G/W sailfish, bracket mount 2- 200 hpdi's (loved those motors) hated the scuppers, under water at the dock. If a hose popped off the boat would sink after the battery's died. But the boats sea keeping was unmatched
Look at minute 14:11 ..... your negative battery feed is loose at the buss bar. You better tighten-up that 1/4" nut to secure the wire before you have a problem with the electronics
