    I just appreciate Omega as a character so much: they made a little kid who is goddamn adorable, precocious, and not annoying. Hell, in this episode, she's told to stay in the ship--and she actually does. She solves problems to a reasonable degree, but things don't always go right for her, and she needs a reasonable amount of help when things go wrong.

      The smug look on Omega's face as she rode on the back of a Rancor (9:37) made my day.
      Also, I love seeing how quickly Omega is adapting to living and operating as a part of the Bad Batch; having fun with the commlink but using it sparingly in the mission, communicating with hand signals, sneaking around the compound, escaping the ship, and repainting her clone trooper doll to make "her" a Bad Batcher.
      I get worried that she'll mess up - which not only puts her in danger but means her brothers will have to save her - and instead she surprises me with competence.

    Funny how in SWTOR, Ord Mantel is where the republic trooper class story starts. Even more ironically, in that story, your character join a special forces team code named havoc squad, but only to find out they are defecting to the sith empire, leaving you as the last loyal member, then begin to hunt down the defectors one by one. Wait a minute.....

    Cid is a very sharp person. The last thing she said in this episode is like blackmail because Hunter first said he'd think about taking more work from her. Her saying they must be valuable was a threat is a subtle way of saying "if you do not do work for me, I could turn you in and get value out of you in that way - so you can either work for me or....your choice".
    In her dealings with the Jedi is prob they used her cuz' she is the best of the best they could get, and when you are that good at what you do they also have to deal with that they could be dangerous as it would be worth the risk in dealing with that kind of person. High risk - high reward.

    When Bib first showed up, I was worried that Moochie would be a baby Hutt. The fact that they weren't told it was a Rancor was idiotic. What if their ship wasn't big enough to hold a Rancor, expecting to have a human-sized target?

    • @kenle2
      @kenle2 3 года назад

      Either Cid has heard about their ship and was playing dumb, or she figured they could improvise a way to get the Rancor (which was only about a foot or a foot-and-a-half taller than Wrecker) back to her.

    About Cid and Trandoshans. Remember Gha Nachkt from Clone Wars, the small chubby guy that tried to steal R2 and bring him to Grievous (ended up getting stabbed by the General)? He reminded me a lot of Cid, so I'm thinking Trandoshans that don't have the impressive hunter physique like Bossk develop other skills along that menacing reptile behaviour. Cid is definitely a sneaky character.

    That’s the thing with shows and movies, they have more credence than even the source material it seems. I remember Star Wars Theory channel talking about this as well
    It’s the reason why we have Star Wars Legends (original canon) and Star Wars Canon. An example of this can be retconned characters like that old dude in the rebel troops from Return of the Jedi now and even this with the Rancor Moochi

    Prince Xizor's name is pronounced "SHEE-zohr" and he is over 100 years old during 3.5 ANH according to the novel Shadows of the Empire, and this is considered middle-aged for him. He IS canon because he is in the crowd during the podrace in Phantom Menace. If it's on film, it is canon. Also, his assistant/bodyguard, Guri, is a one of a kind Human Replica Droid (HRD). There are no others like her, and she cost him nine million credits.
    Rhea Perlman and Ron Perlman are not related.
