thank you. upgrading from 21.3 was a breeze. About 1.5 hours on my Asus Vivobook. I had to reinstal the TLP battery monitoring apt which limits the charging threshold.

I tried this method on an old mac I had set up to dual boot MacOS and LinuxMint. This upgrade method didn’t work, unfortunately. Reformatting that partition and reinstalling from a usb mostly worked, but there were issues with WiFi. I’ll reinstall Vanessa, and maybe after several months I’ll try 22.x again.
