I know you don't want to redrill 6 holes that hold the front or rear frame down, but the side bars are important for bracing your rack - fore and aft. Alternatively you could put some spacers in the gaps on the side bars and then bolt through, so that you can do up the two flanges on each end of the side bars. I'd hate to see the roof top tent on the ground on a gnarly steep track or serious congregations.
Hey mate total unrelated questions, How high is your lift and how big are your tires? Im looking at lifting my MQ Triton 2" and slapping 31s on but yours looks gnarly so wondering if thats what a 2inch lift with 31s looks like. Cheers
Hello, after some advice. RE the mounting bars on the roof top tent - we are struggling to align the base of the roof top tent with the tub rack because the mounting bars are not wide enough. When we tried to adjust them to fit the width of the tent's bars on it's base, there wasn't a way to secure the cross bars back onto thee rack. Does that make sense? Help! (basically, keen to know if you had to drill new holes to the base of the tent)
Hey, I didn’t need to drill new holes in my tent but I did drill new holes into tub rack as I saw it didn’t align. Drilling holes into rooftop tent will cause water and condensation leakage!
We bought one a d have it installed. My question is with the ladder. Instructions say it should be at a specific angle. Tho the kings store say it doesn't as its not a support for the tent. Do you know if it matters its at (I think) a 35degree angle? Only ask cuz we need to fit 2 self inflating mattresses in our 4 person Annex
Drivetech lift man, 2 inch front and rear but rear is 350kg constant. Will be dropping a new video on a rundown soon so make sure to stay tuned for it!
Hi mate - I’m the middle of building my own and also find gaps between the brackets for the ones on the side. What’s the correct way of building so you don’t have the gaps? Cheers 👍
You able to do a lil video or explanation on you’re tonneau cover on how you cut around the kings rack would love to know cos I’m in the predicament.

I agree mate, spacers have been made. Appreciate the honesty!

No doesn’t matter what angle the ladder is at, as long as it touches the ground

You need to assemble all the pieces before placing on car. So put everything on the rack that’s included and then place on car
Hey is was that the lowest setting in the tub rack how heigh was it compare to your roof height ?
Hey mate. Yes that was the lowest and was about 5cm off the roof height
What did you cut around the cover with?
Just a Stanley knife and side cutters man
How many bolts did you put in on the tub near the cab
Yeah figuring that out for myself right now. MQ Triton aswell.
Did you used bolts in the tub where the chrome roll bars needer the cab
The gaps on the side cross members is due to the top cross members ruclips.net/video/9UdgzuQVkKQ/видео.html
