There was a really good video where a guy pulled one apart, the little batteries inside didn’t have a QR code on them, he said they maybe second hand/ recycled batteries put together from defective batteries, they test the cells and reuse the cells that test ok, they remove the QR code so you can’t track their origin.

FYI That annoying chair looks far easier to setup in the snowys video when you do it thr proper way. Looks like an easy chair in their video.

I wouldn't have a lithium "any brand" battery in a vehicle and be able to sleep at night. They are inherently an unstable chemistry unlike other types of battery. Lithium is up there with Sodium metal on the periodic table and behaves similarly in certain conditions. I think I would get a better night's sleep with a box of fire works under my bed with a mosquito coil burning nearby !

I am due to buy a new battery to replace a AGM 105 AH. in my Caravan. The battery is located under the bed with little ventilation. Can you please advise as to the changes I would have to make to the Caravans current system to be able to use the Lithium Battery with safety. I will never do a lot of free camping and like the conveniences of the Caravan Park Powered sites however I would like to have the option open. I am elderly and don't know a lot about Electronics

Hey There, newbie here so sorry if its a stupid question. Whats the go with lithium batteries inside a vehicle. I hear horr stories about lithium batteries catching on fire or exploding? Also checking the data sheet it has temp warnings and must not be charged over 45 degrees and not used over 65 degrees.. Pretty easy for a car to exceed these temps in the sun? just interested in thoughts here.

I like your video. How much current do the fans draw (assuming they are 12V) a kings fridge draws from 3-8 amps at 12V depending on size this not a big wattage. Don't get me wrong my experience with the same battery after 3 months of constant use is 100%. But you video lacks any real data and a lot of statements are vague. As your title says "An Auto Electrician Advice" I expected more detail.

Billy Goat track isn't the hardest track in SA, but it is a challenge. I did it solo in a stock Pajero several years ago, and although it is tough, I have been on tougher tracks. But the experience at the time took my confidence and skills to a new level. I did the track a few years later with a mate who said I took years off his life on Billy Goats!

I hope when you chuck things around the battery the terminals are covered? As you know, it's not a good idea to short a Lithium. I do have 2 of these as well.

I was going to buy one last week. Asked if they have the compliance certificate for the new AU standard and was told that they do, but it was with their legal department and not available to customers. Try telling that to your insurance company. Buyer beware. Great value, ok batt but not worth the risk in a caravan setup.
