I have noticed that a lot of candy, snacks and beverages that are sold in Europe as Japanese products are actually produced and shipped from Thailand. It's not knock-offs, but it is not from Japan. I'm guessing that improves the profit margin. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if there are knock-offs on the market as well.
@@ottarkraemer9001 I'm wondering if it's made for export and thus the taste is adjusted perhaps. But then again novelty flavours are like walking through a swamp, you never know when you sink. XD

This one specifically said "Product of Japan", so I guess this one was from there.
