In this guide series I take a look at each god’s respective abilities and describe how they function and what situations they are best used in. I also go over builds, relic choices, ability leveling, and combos with each God. The guides are typically made for new/returning players bu
t I don't shy away from more technical ideas/mechanics, so who knows, you might learn a thing or two!
For builds the first build I put is the one I personally rely on/recommend, then, any other builds are sourced from high level players, usually referenced against builds from prosmitebuilds.com, which gathers builds from high level players in ranked and pro play.

Whenever I play Arena or anything other than conquest, I have the debuff that increases ult cooldown by 15%. Would you still recommend playing him in other game modes? or do you feel the increased ult cooldown isn't very noticeable? Thanks for the vid man, really appreciate it!

Honestly yeah when i played him in slash (it was only once, mind you) I didn't really feel the cooldown increase, probably because you basically never ult without blink, and blink already had a much longer cooldown.
Funny enough though, with the higher cooldown, it makes cdr take a bigger impact on the cooldown than before. Normally with max cdr it's 60 seconds, and with max cdr with the nerf it's 69 seconds (on God I'm not joking) so it's really not that big of a deal when you consider blink is almost double that
That said I still don't like the change. Outside of his ult he was way less effective in those game modes than in conquest since its so much easier to jump on him and stop any chance for chains/flames

Do Ares chains prevent speed boosting abilities like Nezha or Chronos?

It would still reduce their overall movement speed, but they'll still be moving faster than they normally would be when hit by the chains. I hope that makes sense lol

How do you chain gods when you use ares ult? I play on Pc but when I activate his ult and I lmb or rmb it just cancels the ult without chaining anyone, can someone help pls

You're going to want to use the left click for this ability. make sure there are gods in the ability's targeter before left clicking. If there's nobody in the Area of Effect when you press left click it won't chain anyone.
