PASSI CITY: Anne Palmares

My advocacy as a woman of the earth whose passion is inspired by my conviction to help save our environment is reforestation, a way to rebuild and replenish our depleted forests since they are the lifeblood of our planet. Rebuilding the ecosystem of forest where trees facilitate biosequestration of atmospheric carbon monoxide and prevent global warming, is something I am passionate about. The mission to replenish our forest that comes from my heartfelt conviction by joining tree planting activities on various locations where deforestation occurred. It takes a strong commitment to turn this advocacy into a moving force of change to save our forests, the very lifeblood of mother earth. It takes true passion to plant the first seed that would lead to another and more, a movement that nurtures our conviction to recreate our forests. I will start planting that seed of passionate advocacy within me so that I will be brave enough to lead the movement for reforestation campaign in our city and hopefully let the world see what we've started.
